What is the best m+ class for dps?

Hi there,

If you were going to specifically only do m+
What class would you use? One that is good at AoE?

What classes/specs are the best?

Havoc DH, WW monk and to a lesser extend SMF (annihilator / odyn build) Fury warrior.

The spec you are the best with. Stop trying to play the game like an MDI player with the fotm specs.

Average players are more useful with their favorite specs, even if it’s not meta, compared to trying something new you are not familiar with.

Play whatever you want to play.

I play shadow and perform absolutely fine. I ironically top meters, althouvh im sure that says more about my group.

A average pugs never gonna minmax, to reach the logs like you see them, routed have to be used to maximise the potiental to brgin with which is never done.

Yeah want to second this. If you are “good” with a particular spec then it has to be that one.

There’s a huge difference between instinctively knowing your class utility in any given situation Vs reading a rotation from a wowhead/icy veins guide for theoretical max damage with another class.

In reality it doesn’t really matter.

You’ll commit to a Class/Spec and end up getting nerfed and becoming useless anyway.

Just choose what you enjoy playing.

Dh, rogue, ww, arc mage, mm hunter .

Like other said, play what is fun to you, or what u are good at .

But also, if numbers are fun for you then doing big numbers on something like DH is far easier on something like surv hunter or so.

Also as mage/hunter u might have easier time geting into dungeon sometimes because of BL.

Back off on the MM hunters, they’re alrdy getting nerfed in 10.0.5, you’re just salty you lost to one and you’re a rogue.

During the whole SL s3 and s4, huntars dealt three times more damage than any other class and I didn’t typed any word here about it. But after short time DF started, we see again Huntars deal 2.5 times more damage than other. This is broken and sick. What about just grey out all other damage classes and let everyone plays only huntar?

Or do you like blizzard put a red button on your keyboard and when you press it, you insta kill your target?

I wish devastation evokers were better. Everywhere I look they are unviable, and when I finally find a devastation evoker with decent ranks he/she/it already speced into preservation weeks ago because of how much devastation sucks.

Man I regret not leveling my old warlock… I dont want to play warlock every single expansion and I dont want to relevel another dps spec…

Id say, if you want to pve or pvp as dps, do not pick evoker or ret paladin. Ret paladins are better in pvp tho, more represented. There are about 4 times ret paladins than devastation evokers in some brackets.
