What is the easiest class to play for someone with learning problems?

Haven’t tried ESO with controller but with Keyboard it is… awful. It’s like a bastardized mix of GW2 and Skyrim with stiff controls. The quests are engaging but the combat ends up ruining it.

Bm hunter, fdk, dh…

But idk if this dude will be pushing m+ or gladiator so let him choose what he likes.

True :ok_hand:

While gaming can be very helpful in improving a wide range of skills in people affected by various psychical and physical disabilities it’s also important to note that games can be also very damaging if not chosen wisely.

MMORPG’s are well known for having a huge amount of various bad/toxic people who can threaten other people’s mental state or even lead to various ways of exploitation of vulnerable people.

WoW is well known for its playerbase toxicity and it’s considered of the most toxic MMO’s on the market so there are other much safer picks if you want to go with MMO’s. That said it would be much safer to go with single-player RPGs or other SP games of various calibers i.e. (story-driven) Assemble With Care, (logical) Opus Magnum or Oxygen Not Included, and many many more good choices for people to learn and grow.

Basically, there are better games to help people

If you want to be ranged= BM-Hunter

If you want to be Melee= Havoc Dh

Both specs can be played by bilateral amputees with down-syndrom.

But this comes with a great cost… they are also the most boring specs in the game.

If you want to know what is more viable: It highly depends on tunning, but DH get invites to every group in raids thanks to their magic-debuff. (Having only 2 tank spots make it not that uncommon).

I have a suggestion, look up the add-ons “max DPS rotation helper” and “hero rotation”

These will suggest your next ability, and it is not terrible damage either

Controller is great… feels really relaxing to play.

Moot point as the game has parental controls setting length of game play and times to log in and out and what can be accessed .

Parental Controls - Blizzard Support (battle.net)

They may not be fail safe but they do help .

My situatiion exactly. The self confidence I post with on here does not transfer ti the game. Plus I dobt play with anyone outside of LFD and LFR apart from a Discord run and even then I have to know well the other players.

So long as he is enjoying playing does it matter if it is easy or not?

I have children with varying difficulties and am currently levelling a char with my 10 year old (elemental shaman) my 9 year old has a warlock and my 7 year old has a hunter… over time he can try new characters and experience a while range of styles he doesn’t have to go for the easiest to play option… he can play them all!

I HATE melee characters… I can’t see anything I stand in crap etc… I am better as ranged it is calmer and slower… I have a pally tank as my main currently… they are adaptable.

My younger ones use an add on (maxdps) to help with rotations and take the pressure off stuff like mana/energy/focus/etc… I would recommend that to support his gaming but I wouldn’t try to persuade one way or the other what character to play it is all very subjective based on personal experience and aesthetics.

Beat me to it, Grizzler hehe.

@OP - I agree with Grizzler (apart from the melee classes bit!), MaxDPS is a great addon - in fact i still use it when trying out different classes. You also have an advantage that you both play warrior, so given time and patience, he could learn from you and also gain a bit of self-confidence which will sure make him feel a lot better.
