What is happening? i literally woke up to some drama about some random group clearing MC and random player “abusing” system to reach level 60???

WHO CARES!!!

How does some random person clearing MC in any way take away from your classic experience? Are you playing this competitively? did you think you were the best? did you join only to reach lv 60 first?
If a person who got lv 60 first ever bragged about it, i would say GG…and that’s it…this is what this person did, he robbed him self of classic experience to have 60 seconds of fame…HE IS BASICALLY KIM KARDASHIAN and you are all giving him attention he doesn’t deserve, leave him alone and play the game

And about this group that cleared MC and method and…WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? i’m level 35 warrior leveling in stranglethorn…jesus

CLASSIC IS HARD!!! why would you compare it to modern?
Modern wow is based on reflexes and bottun mashing and classic is designed on awareness and strategy…why would you compare 2 different products?

STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO RANDOM BULL and enjoy the game that thousands of people have fought for,because in the end

Others people accomplishments don’t take away from your experience…another random drama…i don’t give a damn about method or those guys or asmongold or game being hard or modern wow in general

No they didn’t. They haven’t even confirmed whether transfers will become available full stop. They merely stated that transfers were a possibility (and didn’t confirm whether they would be paid or free if that was the case).

People cant seem to understand that this is Wow classic, not vanilla 2006. Even tho the game might be the same the community & playerbase is not. People are going to clear stuff as soon as possible because they want to. Its just the casuals that are mad while the rest of us level up and gank them in stv

The only drama is perhaps that Blizzard didn’t bother to tune the raids around 1.12, so they are much easier than they originally were in 2005, private servers were harder because they took this into account, meaning P.server players practiced on a harder version of the game to begin with.

You gotta get roasted for that, Classic strategy has less depth to it than retail LFR, most bosses are tank and spank with 1 mechanic in Classic, and so far we’ve seen it’s not tuned to account for 1.12 classes + 16 debuff slots so it can be cleared by greens and level 58s.

Modern WoW is about strategy and teamwork, because the fights are complex and have multiple layers of mechanics and problems you have to figure your way around, bosses put more emphases on teamwork and individual responsibility, in addition to having reflex mechanics and faster paced combat.

Yes modern WoW raiding is much harder in every area, individuals in a raid are far more important, boss strategy is multiple times more in depth and layered, dps/healing requirements and tuning are on a different scale.

Classic is good because it’s a fun game, not because Vanilla was hard. Even so, Classic is easier than Vanilla. BFA sucks because it’s problems are even more complex and layered than its convoluted and difficult raid bosses.

I think it’s impressive these guys managed to level up, get pre raid gear and actually clear MC by now. It’s by no means an easy thing to do, then again in comparison to retail wow it’d be about 1 day to cap level from previous expansion, 1 day to get pre raid gears and about 5 minutes getting a group to start raiding and about a couple attempts at best to figure out and down the more difficult bosses while it’s taken about 15 years to figure out best ways to down the vanilla content like MC, these guys are most likely private server players who know the mechanics like their own pockets, there’s NO WAY a regular retail player could do the same so don’t expect this content to be easy for you, because it won’t be.

Before Jokerd’s achievement of hitting 60 in classic, I had no idea who or what Method was. Apparently they’re chubby hipsters larping as professional gamers or something like that. Now that the first two raids are cleared by APES, I am still not entirely sure what Method’s main function is.

Huge grats to Jokerd and APES for their effort and success in Classic.
