What Leather working profession should I pick for Feral Druid?

I mainly want to tank lategame, but some Items to help me farm and level would be nice too.

Which Leatherworking Spec would be best for that?

As you may know there are three leatherworking specializations: Tribal, Elemental and Dragonscale.

  • Tribal has the best pre-raid gloves and pants for rogues, feral druids, hunters and DPS warriors, the famous devilsaur set. Timbermaw reputation gives you also chest + legs for feral druids (legs are bit worse but cheaper than devilsaur) and some caster gear, including fire resistance stuff from Molten Core.
  • Elemental’s most notable endgame recipes for you are fire resistance with agility and the Stormshroud set, which is an ok-ish set with +dodge but expensive to make and for the most part without stamina, so no great for tanking but ok for questing. There’s also a level 45 helm that will last you into your late 50s, but that’s mostly it.
  • Dragonscale is for mail, so you can skip that

Personally I think Tribal is the best for you. There are a ton of devilsaur crafters out there but getting the recipes isn’t hard (one’s vendor and the other’s farmed), the furbolg items are nice, and you get to make good caster gear you’ll probably use.

Elemental would make sense for MC fire resistance gear with agility, but it is harder to raid intensively as a feral druid, so except for the Helm of Fire, which is good, you may not get much from it.

But remember all these items are BoE so if you’re friends with a crafter with a certain specialization it may be worth considering getting a different one, even if just to have more recipes in the group.

If you want to make lods of emone go tribal leatherworking and make Devilsaur stuff.
It’ll also be your BiS gloves and pants for a long time.
