I played some era and then stopped for few months. Two weeks ago i get back to playing it again and i heard there was a patch at some point in August that changed the whole honor system. I just dont understand how from WSG and different weekends we are now at AV all the time weekend or not and everything else is basically dead ! What on earth is happening so ppl are just queueing only Av’s 2 min pve games and nobody gives a flying fk about the usual pvp battlegrounds ? Just today i saw 18 AV games going on at the same time and 0 WSG ? What exactly they have done so they ruined the most played battleground to the point nobody queues for anything but dumb AV ?
It happens “alliance” remember when they did boycott AV? and they did exclusive premade vs pug in wsg/ab? Now hey guess what we are at phase 6 paladin is overpowered, so they take advantage of it and they premade/raid setup pve race, and if anything goes wrong oh well buble half the raid and turn it immune to dmg while you heal it. Anyway point is now alliance play only AV because they can exploit it to winning and get fast honor, if you break that for them they will boycott again, and go premade wsg/ab once more.
18 AV = 40players VS 40playersx18 i let you calculate how much players(entire europe cluster) don’t go in WSG and AB because they are not T2/T3 geared = most players just have no balls
- Abuse of consumable FAP 24/7 can’t be slowed
- Capricious Cryers angry babies still thumb sucking have their Chronoboon with full worldbuff making them overpowered
- While pala need phase 6 to kill, naked shamans kill everything with 1-2 spell (just try to play paladin before talking like that)
maybe just maybe it’s not fun being killed by T3 peoples while you are wearing preraid BIS… let the T3 fight amongst themselves, and for faps they are necessary as a warrior otherwise Frostmages are going to bully you. Real pvp for me starts after reaching R14 with gear from AQ40 and with a lot of gold. (if i’m still interested in pvp after ranking.)

i didn’t even demand T3 in order to pvp but ok… the problem with the era servers and pvping with bad gear is that they are running for 4years many good geared ppl on this server, you don’t want to pvp with P1 gear lol. but i felt the part with the UD rogues i absolutly agree

As predicted, AV with DC premade gives maximum amount of honor/time. Given that people now have to reach a certain amount to gain rank, AV farm it is.
The old system didnt encourage farming for casuals as they had no chance of consistently hitting brackets 12+. the new system requires you to hit 500k each week, which currently a lot of people find feasible with AV spam

I do agree with the general point that there should have been an improvement of matchmaking premades at least
the point is that you won’t getting steamrolled by T3 players anymore.
An organized WSG group in blue/green will beat a random assortment of naxx PvE heroes every time. AB is strategic wins maybe 90% of the time
Pug vs pug the dragon slayers will dominate of course
AV is just a PVE zerg where you will get steamrolled all the time with a near-zero impact on anything
i queue solo i’m not in a premade. and In av you get still a decent amount of honor, also i don’t consider AV really pvp in baserushes i won’t get annoyed by T3 that much.

at first i wasn’t but i actually developed some interest in it. hence why i won’t quit when turtles are happening. i just don’t want to fight T3 while being mid geared myself, i don’t think it’s hard to understand.
Fair enough. My point was that being part of a regular pvp crew is far more fun than grinding out gear solo. You will win more often even in blues and progress naturally. But this point is clearly moot now that AV farm is all that people do
Any T3 player will obliterate a blue solo rogue, also in AV. The difference to WSG and - to a lesser extent AB - is that your death doesn’t matter at all. On both sides.
Dont know about him, but to me pvp with full gear vs ppl in full gear is what it should be. Reflexes, awareness and setup. The point to pvp was never gear… it is the player vs player love and the enjoyment u gets on top vs another human. Unlike pve … programmed pixels that does always the same thing and theres no surprises in actions or anything. Whoever loves to pvp , love to do it just for itself. Its like u asking why ppl play counter strike when no gear drops or league … its just to beat the opponent mate, what other reason do u need to pvp 
Now while wow is an MMO and not some shooter or top down game like LOL … pvp is pvp everywhere , its a mode created for ppl to fight another human being and this is enough on its own.

Warsong is like having a football match in your childhood. Just play the ball(flag) for fun. Win or lose, that’s the game. Problem is that the game became too serious for many players.
- A nerf of FAP is needed (why full T3 full chronobooned have to use 24/7 FAP too, it’s a shame)
- Dwarf shaman and UD paladin
Horde teams 99% orc/UD unstoppable and some cry about priest dwarf having a single fearward every 10min
Players FAP every 2min = you die, you return to fight, FAP already up. 100% FAP game, it’s a shame. I hope Blizz do something about FAP it’s the biggest problem
I play warrior too mr troll. And never used a fap and i’m alchemist 300. Ok i’m lazy but still win a lot
