What people don't tell you about AOE Farming as Mage

Now that Classic Era servers are starting to get full, i wanted to share an opinion about aoe farming as mage. What people don’t tell you is that mage, like warrior, are very gear dependent.

Without good gear with Stamina and Mana (eagle gear), you will run out of juice before you kill any mob. Most of casual players at level 14-16 will still wear some white pieces, so the only option is to run a lots of dungeons.

So if you are starting fresh without silver (what is gold???) before you make any choice, have this in your mind. Guides and videos are showing the best case scenarios but never how they got all these gear to start farming.

The higher you get and as long as you put your points in the right place you can do two groups before running out of Mana.

It doesn’t really work properly until you hit 30 or so.

No one is creating fresh classic mage to aoe level and skip quests with tones of gold and reputation.

If you know someone - wish them gl

best thing you can do at that lvl is buy a wand, for any caster. AE farming comes way later
