He’ll come back with a vengeance in the next expansion, just like the rest of Legion. It’s how Blizzard works.
Mists of Pandaria doesn’t get mentioned at all beyond the relevance of Garrosh in Warlords of Draenor, but suddenly there’s lots of little details about it and even reasons to go back there in Legion.
Warlords of Draenor doesn’t have any impact on Legion besides providing Alternate Gul’dan, but suddenly we get a brief return to Draenor and even a playable Mag’har race in Battle for Azeroth.
Legion doesn’t matter in Battle for Azeroth, aside from the final events of expansion being the reason behind Azerite, but…
We’ll see how Legion’s relevant in the next expansion. Good news though, everything that happened during this expansion will be brushed over during the one after it!
It’s just a pattern I’ve recognised, but we’ll see if Blizzard sticks to it.
because some dumbass at blizzard thought that it’s going to be a great idea to incorporate XD corrupting ashbringer again XD as something that we should treat like part of the story that ended this silverhand vs ebon conflict instead of just “lol a skin”
While I liked the artifact weapon system, it was actually fun, the lore/story behind them were…dissapointing in many cases. And the hidden skins were a mess of how they were handled. Most of them was a drop from somewhere, with a few needing to do some weird unlock or grind(like Thal’kiel), and the corrupted ashbringer requiring a whole extended quest chain.
And then you had titanstrike’s hidden skin that you bought from a readily available vendor in Dalaran for 1k gold.
