What server to choose as Alliance EU (PVP only) - Prefer nordic population (Danish/Swedish/Norwegian)

Hey so I just installed WoW classic because I wanna try it again

I played on Ravencrest Vanilla - TBC, but since that is not a server now, I wonder which would be the closest server to replica Ravencrest from back in the day?

Ravencrest was a server which was mainly Alliance and majority of the players on the server came from denmark, sweden and norway :smiley:

Judgment has a few nordic guilds at a high level :slight_smile:

But it’s a low pop server I would pref a medium / high server :smiley:

I dunno about the nationality makeup of the server, but Bloodfang is in a pretty decent spot in my opinion. We’re down to one layer and the faction split is near-perfect.

Gehennas - Swedish
Firemaw - Norwegian
Razergore - alot of mixed nordic
Mograine - same as Razergore.

All got a bit more hordes than alliance.

Well I have created all 8 of my characters on Mograine now, so guess this is where I’ll end up :smiley: First one to max out is my warrior Smurisha :smiley: since I’ve mained warrior from TBC - WoD(Legion)

Earthshaker has a very solid alliance and horde playerbase, it’s medium-high and as the guild leader of amnesia I personally invite you over to join our guild.

why would you advise to play on a dead server? Earthshaker is dead as hell, don’t try to make him come here just because you made the mistake of rolling on a doa server, most of us knew it and simply waited foe the queues to get better.

op, I highly recommend you ashbringer or zandalar tribe, if you want to be alliance and pvp, both servers are the least frustrating option for alliance. Mograine isn’t bad too.

Thx for the advice, now I spend 4-6 hours doing research on servers and costumizing my characters so I think I’ll just stick to mograine now. I don’t have any friends who play wow anymore, so just wanted a server where I might be able to meet some fellow countrymen and make new friends (not that i mind having friends outside of Denmark, but it would be nice to be able to meet some if I end up making some friends here on the server :smiley: )

Firemaw for Norwegians and Danes and Gehennas for Swedes. Any of the newer servers like Judgement, Skullflame, Earthshaker, Mograine etc have a fair amount too but they’re more remnants of people who couldn’t be bothered to que for Firemaw and Gehennas so if you want a majority Scandinavian server it’ll be one of those two.

Stay away from Mograine. I play on this realm and I considered myself a serious player and I am committed to this game for the next 2 years + at least and the people on this realm, especially the alliance, have humbled me with how serious people take the game. Its starting to suck the fun out of certain things now. I avoided Shazz when Mograine was announced as I thought it would attract chilled out communities who like the game enough to appreciate the lore behind the name of Mograine but idk if jokered had any part to play but all i’m seeing are armies of gnome frost mages. I can’t begin to imagine how often “lfg spellcleave” is spammed in alliance’s general chat.

Razorgore is mostly English speaking, but loads of Nordic in the realm xD.

Well I am here now Jungledemon and reached lvl 12 on my warrior, so no plan on swapping now :smiley:
