Mostly my SCW buddies, but throw in the other old gangs alongside. Legitimate Business Club, Shadow Sentinels, Shield of Light. Yunaris and Laoise, and the Sentinels of old. Even further back, Silvereye, Masquerade, Dun Morogh, Old Town Blades… Tobes and Ath’s parties in the park, the Shadowdancers, and of course Nath.

I have no clue about that, but he has lot of enemies than friends.

A lack of flying, that’s what I miss. It didn’t just kill world-pvp, it killed world-RP, good luck meeting someone randomly on a road.

The person I miss is a friend of mine who stuck with me through thick and thin when I had it rough OOC, and IC I had alot of adventures with him and his characters. What’s more, he also seemed to be the person that kept together a small group of friends who played the game together. Now that he has managed to break free from the WoW-bondage, he has definetly left a void.

However, he still lives on ingame in two small ways. One, the supply of elf-wine Desartin has came from his character, and my death knight wields the runeblade of his own death knight after she fell on Argus.

Unfortunately I haven’t logged into WoW for months - Imo it’s not all that fun at the moment, so I don’t thiiink we’ll see each other in character for a while! I mostly just hang around the forums and on discord on occasion, to keep in the loop. :slight_smile:

On the topic of this thread; there are so many people that I couldn’t possibly name them all here. (I also suck as remembering names). But the fond memories remain.

I remember one day, years ago now, where I woke up one saturday morning, logged onto WoW and found a few guildies online. So our characters sat down in the hall of Mardenholde and RP’d having breakfast. It sounds so simple - and a bit silly - but for some reason I always smile when I look back.

A lot of RPers I used to seriously look up to/wonder about are gone now and it’s so gutting!!! Especially in the Horde belf community, I was part of that from 2012 and I made so many friends that ended up leaving because they hated the game. If I remembered their names I’d say them, Auruan (I think his name was) was one who was in my guild and ended up quitting for Guild Wars 2. Haven’t spoken to the player in a while but he left WoW around the time of Pandaria and we stayed in contact from that point onwards. RP was a bit lackluster for a while after he’d left though.

I miss all these friends that quit WoW in favour of Final Fantasy over the last year. And there’s a number of them, sadly.
