What would make the alliance more popular?

By you yes, repeatedly. But for me the player that is what happened.

I’m not judging. I sided with her as well on some characters

I just never got the chance to do it for my man, Garrosh, who actually made efforts into claiming both old and current Kaldorei lands as well as advancements in the Barrens.

But that story is over, as per what Blizzard have said.
I might get a line or two from her about being Loyal, but Blizzard have put an end to that story now, in the main. It’s time to move on, like I’ve been forced to with Garrosh.

We’ll see about that during 9.2 and if she becomes likely a raid boss. But the neat cutscene is no guarantee that you’ll be rewarded in the end. They can simply have finished the “storyline” with 8.3 and this was your reward.

Same goes for being a follow of N’Zoth. We have to see how things turn out - but don’t hold your breath here.

Well, they finished the storyline in 8.2.5.
After that, it was all about N’Zoth.

That’s why it’s no longer important to the overall story, which way you choose, because it doesn’t matter. That story is over.

Why is it always pandas that play the victim card?
Well… pandas and night elves, but night elves are about the tree.

Because they’re jealous of the grand city of Suramar.

Pandas and Night Elves want Suramar and they can’t have it.

I mean i liked Vol’jin i even like Sylvanas, but typical horde style 1 of them dies and second goes coocoo over cocobuffs. I was hoping for a good explanation why she did what she did but hearing she will be a raidboss my hopes are now gone.

Alliance saying they dont have good characters and story kinda annoyes me since what do we have. Characters that keep going insane and who dies. Thrall went to hiding and came back as shadow of himself, also hes way too into alliance.
They could improve both sides but im sure we the horde are somehow made responsible for everything that is wrong in the world again in shadowlands and after

Moritz, you better keep it classy.

Its mclovin here and you know it :stuck_out_tongue:

No, what is the fistpump topic? Tldt summary or link?

We probably make the hot takes nobody else does because we actively choose to be X or Y faction whereas everyone else is racially organised.

And we get so little development in either faction we tend to focus on the general issues rather than be blinded by moments our race is involved (which don’t exist).

And I’d hardly say the pandas here are whining. We’re being identifying an issue. The fact the issue is a comment on a possible inconvienient truth doesn’t make it whining.

As far as the capitalist is concerned the person living in the breadline is whining. Does it mean they no longer experience those issues? Not really. Look beyond your faction goggles for a sec and see the issue beyond the partisan red and blue.

I play both factions
Mained alliance until recently
Thought the alliance had it great in legion and BFA.
Loved everything about what they got.

The horde has had it worse imo

Think its all swings and roundabouts really

I know the story is over, I never said otherwise. :woman_shrugging:t3:

Didn’t you say months ago, that it wasn’t over for you? :woman_shrugging:

thats twice you’ve compared yourselves to ACTUAL victims of ACTUAL issues

do you not read what you write?

i’d be offended for everyone you compared yourself to if i gave enough of a damn

Both storylines are done. I don’t really know what more you expect on this front.

That does not change that I am not nothing. It does not change my final meeting with Sylvanas.

It means now we move on into the next expansion.

I don’t think we’ll see her as a raid boss, or at least they told us she wouldn’t end up being one. On the other hand we didn’t get to kill Jaina and she was a raid boss, nor did we get to kill Garrosh as a raid boss. Obviously Garrosh did later die to Thrall but Jaina lives on.

I have never said anything about expecting the storyline to carry on. Are you confusing me with Elvira?

Just like the Night Elves got their revenge, just like the Horde lost in both Warfronts etc etc.

That does not change where my loyalties lie though. Any more than you feel differently about Garrosh.

Well, no they didn’t because that is being explored, because the Burning of Teldrassil was sort of the distant prelude to Shadowlands.

The reason why the Night Elven story was cut short in BFA was simply because Jaina, Sylvanas and Azshara were the main stars of the show.
And in patches where Jaina and Sylvanas were reigning supreme, Tyrande’s arc would have been sidelined for the time being. (Which was going to be saved for Shadowlands as we now know.)
I mean, Nathanos was literally everywhere, between Dazar’alor and Darkshore. I wouldn’t have minded a raid without him present

Never questioned it, but I was forced (and bullied by many people) to get over Garrosh not being Warchief.
It’s time to move on and deal with Sylvanas not being Warchief.

If I can get over him, you can get over her.

As do I. Yet the fact I’ve posted on a blue background char seems to be the lynchpin that many people go for when looking at what I’m saying.

Would these people retort the same if I posted it on my Vulpera DK? Or my Zanda Paladin?

Possibly not. Often when that happens the good ol’ “alliance main in disguise” comes out as a means to discredit the commentary.

I’ve levelled horde and ally in All expos. If we’re talking “mains” as in chars I’ve done content more fully in, then the swing is in horde favour on my part as I progressed more as horde in vanilla, tbc, wotlk and BFA. I skipped mop and WoD, and did more content as ally in cata and legion.

Yet I can still see that the alliance experience is one of reactive responses to the horde with little for themselves. But sure people will zone in on the blue portrait and as leafkettle said attempt to reduce all Arguments to “whine” so as to dismiss them out of hand. Way too much focus on the messenger and not the message is the issue.
