What would make the alliance more popular?

My alliance char has at this moment no idea why to feel bad about being alliance. But maybe i missed the memo.

Okay, so you don’t. Hear that guys, it’s all in our heads. Case closed.

When I play my Vulpera I feel amazing to be horde. I guess that means your previous argument is similarly demolished?

Feeling “not bad” to be something is not the same as feeling good. I don’t feel bad when I play Alliance. But the game doesn’t chuck reasons at me to feel good about it or to feel proud of what we accomplished in BFA unless is read the novels.

This is a feeling too, right? Winning everything and then seeing a terrible story that rips the horde apart and destroys characters, and still being jealous.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned already, but Exorsus went to the Alliance a few days ago.

This is significant, because people are meta slaves. So many people will just do whatever the top-end does without understanding it, and everyone else will follow their friends.

This is going to cause the metaslaves to reconsider Alliance, and a bunch of people are going to follow them.

Do I think this is going to revive my realm? No. Not really. But at least Alliance has a chance now.

So you have read the famous fistpump topic from the US-forums, yes?

I already explained this to you on the discord. The “winning quests” are locked behind quests which are not a follow-up to the starting quest line. In other words, it’s hidden. Most players don’t even know that the Alliance won both warfronts, that’s how “subtle” it is. A gnome-player posted some months ago the requirements to unlock the hidden cutscenes which should tell you lengths about how faithful the developers are to their canon.

I’m not sold on this until they stay at the Alliance.

That’s fair - but at least for a while it looks like we have a chance.

Don’t fall under the sway of the Sha of Despair x’D (Just did Krasarang Wilds)

On the discord? I am afraid you mistake me for someone else. But it is also not important for my message. It was that we horde are not allowed to feel bad about the current horde because it is a feeling, while alliance feel depressed when there is a story going on on horde (no matter how terrible it is, what even makes horde players unsub). What is a feeling too.

It seems for alliance the grass is greener on the other side and are just citimizing themselves.

Oh, that’s nice. I actually based this RP-character on being from Zouchin Village (Kun-Lai Summit, top right corner), so endured his fair share of despair already!

The Horde-fanbase got literally a glorified “feel bad” cinematic with Anduin freeing Saurfang and how this is not “my Horde”.

But these are story-related issues. The community suffers through faction imbalances and how everything is reduced to “whine”, the top killer argument within the red ranks.

“Feel bad for being Horde.”

That sends out a strong “You should be Alliance” vibe and with that, more of an “Alliance” cinematic.

It made me want to kill Saurfang, shame Sylvanas beat us to it

This was the expansion where Blizzard made it feel like they wanted us to be part of the Alliance.

Sylvanas was my only hope!

Garrosh was my hope. Shame Blizzard listened to the Anti-Garrosh shrieks and killed him off.

Hellscream will always be my Warchief.

But your feelings means nothing to ya kween.

Well her and my Garrosh are both gone and it saddens me - more for the latter though.

I know you keep repeating that mantra, but loyalists get to meet with her and no we are not nothing to her. On the contrary.

She even protected our involvement in it all. So that we wouldn’t have to suffer any fall out.

Atleast you zombie followers got to follow her.

I didn’t get that chance with Garrosh.

I was not a fan of Garrosh myself but he had some steadfast supporters too.

The story is quite important, isnt it? Balance wise we have to play alliance anyway on pve. It is very possible on pvp it is the other way around, but a lot of people talk about raiding and dungeons, and that is where alliance shines. Horde keypushers even changed faction for some pushweeks to alliance.

Is it because Sylvanas has the elf body and Garrosh didn’t? You can tell me

And that storyline has been discarded as well.

Lol I do love that if anyone supports Sylvanas it has to be because of her body and not because I actually sided with her.
