Everyone else having a conversation about the state of racial representation in game, Human Male Paladin meme storms in “Did I forget to diss the Horde again? The Horde are rubbish!”, Everyone else goes back to their conversation.
Adults are talking, remain silent.
Yeah it is. I mean, yeah, we get it, Trolls and Elves are the ancient civilisations, OK, kinda like the Greeks and Romans in our world, but given the Dwarf/Gnome/Titan connection, you’d have thought more could be done with that. Because yes, whilst humans too are Titan descended, Gnomes and Dwarves have a specific place, and a specific thing, Stone and Metal, whereas humans genuinely seem to have just been an accidental birth defect that got carried forth, so there would be less residual evidence. Gnomes and Dwarves however are far too underused. There were a few times where you were like, “Oh, Dwarves are getting some attention” and then it just swapped back to the Humans and Pals show. Which is garbage. Trolls and Tauren get the same treatment on Horde. If it ain’t their racial leader nothing happens. They don’t have any support cast, and that means when they get written out (as is the destiny of Horde Characters) there is not really anything to replace them with.
At -Least- they have now changed this for Gnomes and Dwarves I guess. If Mekkatorque dies, Prince Erazmin becomes King Erazmin and probably Kelsey Steelspark as his advisor. Magni’s a neutral factor, but the whole thing about the Council of the Three Hammers is that, well, there are three of them!
Gnomes had a recent chance to shine a bit, with Mechagon and Mekkatorque being a Mekkatorque sized absolute -Unit- in the Fourth War, and I think, yes, it is time we got some serious Dwarven involvement in major events. I have seen a cutscene (No Spoilers) Which has Muradin prominent in it, so there may be hope on that front.
Standard Kim stuff, she has nothing to substantiate what she is saying, so we can disregard this.
No, you have been called out on this many times before, and you refuse to provide any facts or lore. Now let the grown ups have a conversation.
This, subtly different Kim however, gets the message.
