I have acquired gargoyles bite (2h blue polearm requiring level 20) rather cheap off the AH. Was wondering what a decent enchant for this would be. Am playing as a a ret loldin.
Don’t want to spend too much on enchant though as levelling is still fast in the 20’s. Is there are decent enchant I can get for this for under 5g?

Weapon damage maybe.
Seems like it. Striking or Greater Striking seem like good candidates. Not sure about standard gold asks for those though.
An enchant for 5g will not really make a difference.
Just level up to lvl40 and buy yourself an epic 2hand weapon. You don’t need the gold for a mount as a paladin so you should be able to afford good gear with good enchants.
I recommend the fiery weapon enchant (it will cost around 20-30g).
Buy sharpening stones, Heavy will be the best to get, or buy some heavy stone and get someone to make them for you.

+damage would be the one to buy you can sort everything on the AH by price.

I went with +9 wep dmg + heavy sharpening stone on my Gizmotron Megachopper for my warrior who’s now 30, deals a respectable amount of dmg, esp at 24 when I got it.
Although I tend to spend too much on my alts just because I enjoy it, might not be recommended unless you got more gold than you need.
If you got a friend who’s an enchanter it is not that expensive though, depending on server ofc.
That’s the thing about Melee characters, which is easier than casters, a lot more DPS comes from the Weapon than the rest of the gear.
Even a Spirit Dagger is good for a Rogue, Although why is Blackfang Unique?
Your cheapest option is probably +5 dmg on 2h. Vision dust should be around 10s a piece or cheaper depending on server and large glowing shards should be very cheap as they are used for few and unimportant enchants.
At that level I wouldn’t bother enchanting anything more expensive because as others have said your wpn damage is gonna be a big portion of your DPS and you’ll need to upgrade it soonish.
Because 2x +2 Spirit on daggers would simply be OP.
Thanks for all the input guys. My Paladin is now lvl 25 and by the time i’m 30 I should have another blue which I will likely enchant with +5 dmg.
Heavy sharpening stone was also a good suggestion.
