Hello! I am have an issue where I miss abilities on my warrior Kimek. I had 11% hit rating a fight against Baron Geddon and still missed some special abilities (yellow hits) in yesterdays MC raid. And also I experience a lot of misses in my tanking gear which has 9% hit. How come? I’ve read blue posts that 9% hit is enough to not miss any special abilities on boss mobs…
Hitcap for yellows is 9%, with 305 weapon skill or more it’s 6%.
Either you had a weird debuff that drops hitchance, your gear is broken or your weapon skill is not capped, or you mistake dual-wield autoattacks missing for yellows, or you got Dodged (nothing to be done about that) instead of missing.
Or something along those lines…

Even if you’re capped you will still miss some, right?
If you’re at your hitcap your hits cannot Miss, however the Boss can still Parry or Dodge them. I think you didn’t get a Miss but a Dodge.
I’m at my hitcap too and my hits don’t Miss.

white hits can miss at 9%, but not yellow hits
What the guy with the really funny name here says is true.
Only if dual-wielding though.
