Wait, so you can lose the ‘Private’ title if you don’t get 15 hk’s per week?
If you don’t qualify for ranking, then the usual weekly loss is not applied.
If you think you won’t do any pvp in a week then try to get less than 15 HKs and you will not lose any progress.

u cant decay BELOW corporal rank
u usually need a lot more than just 15 hks per week unless very low rank and its 1v1 kills world not bg
You can never lose the Scout or Private title. But you can lose progress in it if you were say Scout R1 (80%) but did no PvP you can drop to 0%.

Alright thanks everyone. So I’m not much of a PvPer but I’d like to at least get the minimum non-losable rank possible in case I ever get into it. That’s corporal according to Reconwarrior Correct?
It’s Private, Rank 1 for Alliance. Scout for Horde. Corporal is Rank 2 for Alliance which honestly isn’t hard to get either. But can decay back down to Private.

I read it on Wowwiki, may not be true but it said that if you don’t get 15 HKs then you are not included in any honor or rank calculations at all, so can’t lose anything.
This is 100% not true. Wowwiki is wrong. If you don’t participate in pvp you will lose ranks. Easy to check by ranking an alt and not playing it for a month. Come back and it will have lost ranks.
You can decay below corporal. However, you do always have at least the private/scout rank I believe.
