What's with the huge queue times for dungeons?

Morning queue up 5-10 minutes, Evening up to 2h.

Asked friend who is 308, and for him it’s written 342. It seems to be bugy.

I’m getting this too as dps. Right now it says average wait time 7 minutes, time in queue 1hr :woman_shrugging:

it is still 342 - but your itlv seems to be bugged on your char. i dont know why it happened but i have it too . im honestly afraid to sell anything so it doesnt go lower.

rushed game is rushed

Maybe profession gear is messing up ilvl readout.

So it’s everyone else’s fault for playing the game the way they enjoy.
Or is it Blizzard’s fault for not forcing more players to opt in tank/heal roles?
How should they fix the issue? Copy everything from ff14 and rename it ff14.2?
One dps can’t join a dungeon fast enough and people start firing up their torches.
I swear, the expansion has been out for 2 days and everyone is loosing their minds. The game is clearly not for you, stop playing/play later in the expansion. Do something else, but please stop complaining about non-issues.

No thanks!

I like the healer/tank system that WoW has, if that went then I would consider quitting the game I think. I know everyone says that but I genuinely love the old school setup.

I played GW2 on release and for quite a bit of time afterwards.

At the time I always thought it had the chance to become one of the best MMOs out there, maybe even overtaking WoW.

It was F2P, the shop wasn’t necessarily a cash grab for increased character power, the jumping puzzles were cool, the style was great, loads of stuff to do, World vs World was cool.

But the idea of not having traditional tanks and healers lost me in the end. For me personally, if they had that I think they could have taken a lot more people away from WoW.

longer queue times is because of high demand and limited servers…

too many people too few servers…

causing a traffic jam in the queue.

Im a white mage in ff14 and i love it. I also use the npc grps because i sometimes want a slower paste than a normal grp. I love the system

And before you say go play ff14 then…i already do. I play multiple mmorpgs as i enjoy them. I dont see any reason to limit myself to just one. And if I see a brillant system which works im allowed to wish for that to be implied in other games.

Heck even Everquest 1 has mercenaries and that game is older than wow

Number of tank classes doesnt matter at all. Its the overal role.

Some blame it on comunity , others on blizzard itself, its bit of both honestly …

Easily explained, look at premades.

You will see most are making groups for heroic runs, nobody utilises the lfg function, because its more reliable to make groups manually.

Lfg system is a sh*tshow concerning whst u see turn up.

I skipped heroic for mythic anyway, why the hell would i do heroic content mythic is easy enough from 340+

Also:.

Lack of tanks and healers.

Im sorry but your wrong, gw2 has lots of problems concerning its group content mainly, nobody rly does it.

Your queues are long because ur using the lfg tool while most are using the group tool to make their own runs mainly because LFG players are a scarey breed of players to play with some most advocate to skip that.

Just like people who skip LFR and go straight to normal mode raids.

Because normal is easier then LFR due to the players u get matched with :joy: mythic+0 is easier then a RDF group

Litterally bosses die slower in RDF then m+0s. The player quality is a massive leap.

Im already 360, im better off waiting til reset to repeat m+0s theres enough content open world to grt myself done with in the mean time

Why rng my way to get drops, to then rng again to get the same drops on m+0 difficulty when i could do m+0s at 340, but cant queue a heroic.

it’s awesome being a tank or healer in ff 14 you don’t get mouth breathers in ff 14 telling you what to do or where to go it’s amazing because if you do get an elitist d bag you just report his toxic rear and he gets banned or suspended

Tanking is also easier in ffxiv which makes it a far more approachable role then in WoW.

Also all classes on 1 char means u can do content as a paladin whil3 getting gear for your bard. That helps alot.

i dunno i’ve been tanking on my allied races as i level them up it don’t seem any harder then ff14 the problem is the “people” you find in LFD

Levelling as a tanks easy. However when u look at m+, and raids in wow. They generally are harder here then there.

Their raids are more danced based i.e repeated mechanics in a order so its a memory test. While WoW is far more about sporadic effects due to being balanced around addons.

Also m+ demands tanks to know Routes, pull sizes, what to and to not skip etc etc.

i don’t really care about those though :stuck_out_tongue: actually the community demands you know the routes and pull sizes blizzard them self have set no such requirement and thats also why the tank population is none existent because you keep forcing one person to know everything and it’s unfun

people have mini maxed the fun out of tanking as they always do in every aspect of wow that why i said those don’t interest me

Make custom groups in the dungeon section of the LFG tool. Goes faster right now.

Fair enough, ffxiv would defintly be a larger appeal in that catagory by default then haha

GW2 also doesn’t have an automated group finder system. Also while it doesn’t have a holy trinity so to speak it does have an incredibly rigorous group compositions thanks to the boon gameplay where groups can lose something like 60%+ of their potential damage output if they are missing key boons.
