They are naturally segregating themselves, you even described it yourself.
It wouldn’t bother me, but he would likely do a lot less than 3% less damage, as the mentality of choosing to play UD warrior is likely going to result in him being bad at the game.
Even if he was equal to another warrior his performance would be less, unless his social value compensated for that it is likely he be benched for the equal warrior with the right race which ends up performing better.
There are right and wrong races, some are near useless and are only played by clueless people which In general are worse than those that bother to pick the right ones.
And your type of guild is the type that’ll start whining that recruiting geared players is hard.

I’d rather go to a guild that doesn’t care about min-maxing rather than one that’s toxic about min-maxing.
Because you’d find that the non min-maxing guilds are a lot more fun and relaxed.
It’s because of Fear Ward, Fear Ward is a luxury, it isn’t mandatory. Besides, good tanks will know how to stance dance and doesn’t really require FW.
Night Elf Priest is especially fun if you want to world pvp or especially for trolling people, shadowmeld - mindcontrol people off boats, elevators, etc.
We had a raid recently where we had 4 priests and no fear ward, so it can suck at times not having it, but no you won’t get denied from raids just because you don’t have it.
Just fine except their racial doesnt trinket blind, they dont have fearward, dont have an ohsh**t insta heal… and dont have anything to compensate for all that. Anyone that thinks nelf priest is ok is either delusional or clueless
I think you’re misinterpreting him, I think he means Nelf is fun for solo trollin people out in the world rather than actual premade pvp.
And ye are both right, to a degree of right. nelf is handy for hiding from being corpse camped with shadowmeld, And at the same time to worst comparable for organized pvp in a large scale, It’s just not the optimum race.

Sorry I haven’t replied sooner, I appreciate all the input from everyone. I ended up chatting with someone while doing stockades and joined a really nice guild full of pretty cool players. The game has become much more enjoyable for me now and I can’t wait to get to 60 to raid!
