You make it sound like you barely touch M+, saying ‘‘I dont pve much’’ for example, yet you clear several 20-21’s? that means you either paid for them, or got hard carried by friends, and in that case, both of them means nothing,
because you do not get invited to 20 or 21’s without having the score and ilvl to back it up, and definitely not for not being a meta class,
and if you do have the score, then ‘‘i dont pve much’’ doesnt really apply.

I agree that people should be open minded, and for their own oppinion. But from what i have seen/heard of it, it seems bad, and the writers doesn’t know the movies/franchise well.
But from my experience, i find the mythic+ to be a horrible experience. I resubbed a couple of months ago, and i’m only here, because i set my mount on getting the keymaster mount. I was thinking of also doing season 3, partly also due to the fated raid mount. But I just find mythic+ to be garbage, that mostly brings toxicity. So if i can get the last rating i’m missing, i think i’ll unsubscribe. Though, i’m barely getting any rating now.

So are the NBA players but I don’t think we need to dive into that.

And they are making money of off playing the game. Plus they have trained hard for years, to reach that point.

That’s the point tho, it already is. It was nerfed to the ground. In fact, you don’t even need 4 people for that. 3 people are already enough. How much easier does it need to get for the PvE community?
(in fact most dungeons, up to +9, tanks can even solo lol…)

This was in a +4 where the healer went offline. He died to ONE pack as soon as the healer wasn’t spamming him with heals, lol.

and as someone mentioned. Some expect you to have an inv potion. Not all of us, lives on the gides forum. We watch a video about dungeon mecanics. Then go see for covenent, stat give, etc.

Plus i think quite a bit of people are returning players. So they don’t have the same experience in mythic+. This is the first time i’m pushing this hard/high

Who do you believe you are competing against? Dungeons, and other PvE content has always been and shall always remain a cooperative activity despite Blizzards failed attempt at making it into an eSport.

NBA players are paid millions of dollars and by winning against other teams they generate billions of dollars for the corporation they work for… You’re doing a +8 in Mists… This is not the same…

Ff14 is good because of the designs of gear sets that is actually no sweat to get, top raiders in wow said its ultra easy to get the best gear inn ff14 then wow, also the specialisations are basicly everyone can be tank and healer, dps. Dungeons in Ff14 you can litterly do them with your eyes closed. Savage raids i have seen echo do them on day 1 so cant be that hard immo. Wow for me is dead because of no rewarding content, i dont wanna see old content even if they change azeroth again ITS OLD, DF i am rlly not sure if dragonflight is going to be good the only thing i see is that proffessions are actually going to mean something again. Dungeon wise nope not my hopes up, only 4 new dungeons wtf, well casuals are going to have fun again i geuss.

I just had a very bad mythic+ plus. It can happen. People still stuck around. Shortly before the last boss, our healer DC’ed, and it didn’t look like the person was comming back. So all that time and efford was wasted. The system is a joke

In fact, I remember some funny things from ff14:

  • 2-3 boe slots against a full pentameld set for 30-40 gil, which is better than any item in the game except savage loot
  • 3 dungeons and 4 bosses, then 4 more bosses for hardcore players that rush in a week in petameld, the rest of the addon content is grind fates, grind components for professions, plot and content ends.
  • if there is no meta dd in the party, it is impossible to pass a DPS check, more precisely, it is possible, but each player must perform a 90 percentile logs, otherwise enrage and wipe, the difference between top dps and bottom dps is 20%. Meanwhile in a “unbalanced” wow the difference is 13%, and this is сonsidering the fact that an enhsham from the bottom of the dps list can respec into an elem, which is now top dps RDD, dps check is important only during actual raid trying, after 2 weeks raids are can be completed by any composition
  • the main villain of the 10-year story arc is the loli bird, which no one has ever heard of, and the main tragedy of the whole plot happened, in fact, by accident
  • the game was unplayable for 2 weeks due to queues and people with afk clickers, the only solution suggested was Yoshi crying on the stream and apologizing
  • 100 hours filter with a tedious plot, during which you have a castrated class, the loot system is completely dooked up
  • instead of normal personal loot, players should roll damn tokens in 2022, each item has its own price of tokens, after 1 token loot, a weekly cooldown is activating, currency for dailies, with which you can buy mediocre gearpiece once a week, and even then not any - this currency is not enough for any slot. In savages 1 player who received loot this week enables cd for the whole party at once, nowhere is it written about loot systems, everything has to be googled or looked at tryharders guides because EVERYTHING IS SIMPLE AND CLEAR, A CASUAL GAME
  • 99% of ff14 tmog is glamor armored lingerie in gilded feathers
  • 2.5 sec gcd for console players, normal players need to insert “ogcd” crutches that flush decent part of the DPS in toilet. There is simply no customization, the master dictates tactics to you on bosses, the master dictates rotations and openers to you, the whole game is a big QTE, prepared in advance by the master, step to the left, step to the right - loose DPS, enrage on the boss, the party wiped
  • from a party for lowlies you will be kicked after 3-4 wipes, you can assemble it yourself, but then it will fall apart after the same 3-4 wipes. Atmospheric and a kind community - its two laughs before the boss’s pull, casual community is full of universal hatred worse than dota and wow combined

Game used to be for casuals, now it became for tryhards.

For instance 1st boss in shadowlands raid has more mechanics than all bosses in WOTLK combined :slight_smile:

I don’t get it.

You’re complaining about people tryharding 15s, but then you call those who want to make M+ less of a tryhard content “snowflakes”. 15s are ultra free, but there’s massive rewards for tryharding them, like +3-ing your key. Tryharding saves time in that sense.

Also, tryharding makes your RIO portfolio look better, which has huge returns in reducing the overall time you spend getting rejected in the dungeon finder.

You have to pick a thing - should M+ be tryhard content, or should it be snowflake content? You can’t complain about both lmao.

How about something in the middle. The “tryhard” and “snowflake”, just sounds like people are being toxic. Which kind of ust shows, the toxicity of the community. I’m not pointing fingers at you. More of a general statement

Wtf every boss on normal/hc difficulty is free loot basicly its not even close for tryharding

PvP players ask for XP which is valid, PvE people don’t care about XP.

I do M+ mostly to help my friends, it’s not me the one getting boosted :joy:
Idk why you believe M+ are hard. Higher than 20, maybe? Idk.
Up to 20 you don’t need to play any crazy mechanics, it’s pretty much same as +10… you just need to do damage and know when to use your CDs and not save them for boss fights.
Maybe my raid logs are okish as an indicator that I know how to heal, since my 2,1k every season might be not? Can also post with a 95% mw monk from S1 if that helps.

Idk what’s meta in PvE nor do I care.
As I said, I did those because my friends asked me to help out.
Anyways, I do not do a lot of PvE, it might be different for you idk but comparing to my thousands of arena matches (over all my chars), I barely do any PvE. What’s exactly your point tho?

There are dungeons where you can cooperate and there are dungeons where you can compete. (against other groups, this is basically how MDI started in the first place) What exactly is wrong with that? You want the same rewards for less effort? Weird mentality friend.

Tryharding a +15 is imo pointless, just as pointless as tryharding a heroic dungeon. Does this make sense?

If you sit in LFG for hours, you don’t save any time and there are no massive rewards at all.

So you think it basically makes sense to sit in dungeon finder for hours to find the very perfect people to do every single key +3 so you can an easier time to join the next group? I mean… we can all check these people… nobody does that. Because it’s just a waste of time, obviously.

No, because your heroics don’t go into your RIO history.

This is why people tryhard even low keys - to make those look good in their RIO resume. It’s not just the score that matters, but also your recent keys. Everyone can boost their score, so people also look at your run history.

Name a good reason why someone shouldn’t try to +3 their key and instead settle for just +2 upgrade? Why shouldn’t someone push a key as high as it can go in as few runs as possible? Whenever you check someone’s rio profile you see their recent timed runs immediately, and you see how many stars they got, and you must know 3 stars looks better than 2, right?

Ultimately, the rules of engagement in this case are determined by the community, and you either get down or you lay down, there are no options. You can run your own key in the non-tryhard way, make your own groups, make a guild even. But come on - even you’ll be happy whenever a tryhard joins your group and does more damage than your entire party combined.

M+ is an arcade mode and people are playing it like an arcade game. There’s nothing wrong with that.

The same way I consider +15 irrelevant. Does the score really even matter below 3k? I mean 3k is easy to get. How much do you get for all +15? Like 2k? What is that even supposed to show or to prove?

Because it’s wasting time. By that time you have finished 3 dungeons. Getting +3 is a bonus, not a requirement.

You seem to misunderstand me. Tryharding is fine. It’s just stupid to tryhard easy content with pugs. It doesn’t make you look good nor does it reward you in any form. And more important: realistically 99% of pugs won’t time M15 with +3 anyway.

And that’s my whole point. Tryharding is fine but the community doesn’t understand where tryharding becomes actually relevant, so they start to tryhard free, easy content :joy: That’s just plain stupid.

Well, I don’t think I am gonna start a guild because of one dungeon where 2 conduits drop that I wanted.

Honestly idc who joins and how he plays as long as we do it in time.
