What's your Favorite WoW Memory?

So what is your Favorite Memory of WoW ?

Mine happens during TBC. In tbc i made a post saying i wanted to see a Real GM (Game Master) Ingame on this Forum. And while i was playing and grinding rep in Nagrand on one of my Gnome Characters, my wish suddenly came true. ^^ I saw not one but 3 Game Masters and they all interacted with me and did emotes. And till this day that was one of my favorite memories. Because it showed that Gm’s and Blizzard reads the forums and cares about their customers. I also remember fondly how the Gm’s back then would talk to you when you made a ticket and even engage and roleplay, Which for me is also a good memory. As i write this i’m also wondering where are the Gm’s these days? Do they still exist? ^^ I hope so. And wherever they are i hope they having a great time. Next week is my birthday and it be fun to see a GM and ask why they don’t like to be inspected. So fellow gamers what’s your Favorite Wow Memory?

I was farming mount in Stratholme and suddenly the door didnt open for the last boss so I made GM ticket quick. GM told me I have to prove if I could kill that big white chicken outside door before I can continue so did I.

After about 2 years, over 2400 solves, I finally got Scimitar of the Sirocco.

I think it’s the best enchants on swords, and not many players have it.

It was in TBC too, I was with my Tauren hunter in Stonetalon Mountains, still leveling up, and met this feral druid there and had a chat. Moments later we went on our ways and continue questing. As I took the mountain pass to the Charred Vale, I came across that druid again. “How did you get here so quick?” so I explained about the mountain pass and he facepalmed on how he never seen this path before and always took the long run around.

The other, more a facepalm for me, was when I finally reached 60+ and went into Outlands. You had to train your pet (I believe the same as in classic now?) and I was confused on why I could not train my pets with a higher spell or why my pet would not gain a higher level spell. I asked a GM and the answer was, you have to capture a creature that has that spell, so you learn it and then can teach your pet.
I felt so silly then and thought, if only the pet trainer would tell me that after the last spell they could teach me, I wouldn’t have to have asked.
Ahh good times.

i finally unlocked blood elf heritage armor .

I really like WoW lore, and I always loved the Old Gods lore in particular. I did not play during vanilla, which made me sad because I didn’t have a chance to kill C’Thun while it was current. I was able to fullfil that dream in WoW Classic, and my first C’Thun kill will be a moemory I’ll treasure forever.

Killing a player in WoLTK (back when we had proper PvP servers), when they were hunting for the Time Lost Proto Drake. Then letting a guild member arrive to take the kill and get the mount

Lately, getting tagged on Reddit because of this transmog and being recognized on Argent Dawn as well every now and then because of it. Apparently it’s had some success

probably when to be introduced in my first “real” guild (was flyin weasels or somethin), we had to jump to death in darnassus till the armor was totally broken. we were in three ppl. me, a polish guy and a turkish guy.
sporeggar was a rp server and we had a lot of fun! the place was full of ppl laughing and chatting.

First guild I joined (Medium Rare) way back during TBC while out questing in the Barrens, encountered a couple [who was the GM and spouse] while doing that long escort quest to Ratchet.

WotLK getting to experience it in its entirety, including my first Raid.

i remember I was farming that cooking recipe I need and it never dropped from a cooking daily in TBC. Around 6 months and still no luck so I decided to make GM ticket. GM told me I already have that recipe. I farmed 6 months for nothing!

I was 16 and had first girlfriend. She invited me to her place for night when her parents were away. I made excuse that Im ill so I could raid. I kept making excuses and understandably she dumbed me which was fine. Im still virgin

Surprisingly hard question. Probably just the casual social moments, gchat banter, rp chats etc. I find the mechanics of the game bring very little that’s memorable

When I got werebear in Legion MT. I would act as if I am AFK in the flying zone, in a werebear from, and many people would stop screenshot, or even /w me saying well done, or wow you must be great guardian druid player and etc. (Got the appearance week or 2 after its release.)

Still have tear of proudness.

Another fav memory is not specifially in WoW, but in the WoW forums. Being heard for the Nightborne customization request was something that made me cry irl from the happiness.

I remember leveling my paly in Feralas I think, a long long time ago.

Man, I was mesmerised. the the feeling I got walking through that forest, the music, the ambience, the quest with the shadow council npcs. At that time I thought their armour was soo cool.

Then I remember dying a lot in the tunel with the furbolgs? And after many, many deaths I arrived in winterspring and I loved it even more. Those thourium nodes convinced me to train mining :joy: they were so shiny.

The lore was simply fascinating for me at that time. So I guess the best memories are about the immersion into that world.

Early legion and getting into regular raiding. One of my favourite memories from then is waiting ages for my legendary only for one of my bis ones to drop off illygnoth

erm, during WOTLK,
that first time entering the zone as a fresh Death knight

exploring the zone and the mayhem of leveling with millions of players

Mine’s rly boring but it has stuck with me the most.

During my early days of WOW I was leveling in the sludge pits, got tired of playing for the day & went to the inn nearby.
Its this cozy little hut with bunkbeds & clothes all over the place. With my parkour skills I managed to climb up to the top bunk, typed /sleep & logged off.

I have done a lot of more impressive stuff like getting a bunch of low drop rate mount in the same week, but the sludge pits will allways have a special place in my heart.

Entering the Dark Portal for the first time as a noob in TBC. Looking over Hellfire Peninsula with that skybox and daunting yet enchanting music, seeing a Fel Reaver stomping around.

Finally being able to play with my guildies who were in Outland months before me.
“I have arrived”.
