It will never happen. Your best chance is to reroll on a PVE server.
If you donāt want to reroll, then quit is your best choice.
I have a few characters on PvP realms and on some of them I used to say in trade that you will be ganked by hordes of Hordes after they hit 60. I got derided and insulted, now who has the last laugh.
I abandoned them after I got ganked for the 5th time at about 25.
Sound like everybody lost and only the Horde are laughing.

Nobodies laughing, the ones who are either donāt understand why having such a stark faction imbalance is bad or are trolls.
True balance of faction populations is impossible, thatās just a fact of Classic, but having balance this bad ruins it for everyone.
Instead of letting people transfer away from servers where they are a minority they should be moving more people in to make up the numbers, since allowing the minority faction to just leave kills the server and creates even more problems.

Yes, it really wouldāve been a smart idea. You can easily make friends in-game (like 90% of the players or so), and you get to play on the server you actually want to play on.
I mean, the people Iām playing with right now are ppl I didnāt even know before I joined their guild back in April 2019, and now (well, Iāve been for months actually^^) Iām one of their officers and one of their top DPSers.
Letting real life friendships dictate your WoW choices is a mistake I made in 2005-06 and that Iām no longer committing.
Reroll pve or l2p.

The only āunimaginative, biased and uninformed [fixed it for you] postsā were those of ppl who, months ago, touted PvP servers as the āreal WoW experienceā and the best/only way to enjoy the game because PvE are carebear/DoA servers.

If Alliance are the minority on most servers, even all according to some posters, then who exactly are you going to move in? Someone has to leave somewhere to increase the population because you canāt make people roll Alliance or magic extra people out of thin air.
