The problems with this Game is:

The community, They have made all the Game feature choices, they’ve asked and they’ve been given what they asked for, cant help they change their mind all the time and start not liking what they asked for to begin with, its an ever changing cycle.

Not blizzards fault.

Why is the community rotten?

The very simple explanation is the players, and especially “community figures” such as wowhead, raider io, the sub reddit, the developers, the top players, the top Guilds the streamers, and it all comes down to the individual player.

I know moral, and integrity is long gone in today’s world, so from my pespective what seems incredibly immoral, and wrong is to others something they have accepted or participated in so that no longer has to be immoral.

Back in the days we had genuine players, and community figures that did things for the community, now we have wowhead, raider io, and all the other bad eggs starting out talking about the community, free and showing great kindness, only to sellout and cash in which was their original goal,

Its all come down to making money, and fame, and influence, and other nasty nasty stuff behind the curtains.

And people dont seem to understand?

Blizzard is even starting to advocate more and more for these “Community figures”, which will just help destroy the Game.

I can’t stress enough how much we dont want wowhead, or raider io to keep running, the circels and things that happen behind the curtains, their attitude, their motivation for helping others, is wrong. And it only makes the Game more anti-social, and cold.

You’d think it would help people but its not, its creating a bigger gap, and again what happens behind the curtains with RMT, and deceit, lies, and the motivation to profit and not be genuine, and have integrity is making this game worse.

It has never been blizzards fault until now, advocating for third party criminals, and not very good people is what started the downfall of the community, not to mention streamers and advocating for money website streamers on their main launcher, and much much more.

We are not supposed to profit from playing a Game blizzard, how are you not understanding that? We are supposed to play it. Every human given the oppertunity will bite at a chance to screw other people over, and not care, they want luxury and a nice living so they dont have to work a job frokm 6 to 5 every day and contribute to society.

And every so often people get a chance to do that, screw tons of people over and get away with it because the overseers are corrupt themselves. or stupid enough to not notice what’s going on.

It has always been the community the third party websites, and all that BS, streamers, and top players fault, never blizzard until now.

Even if you put out the best content ever, and people ran back to the game they’d leave it after a few seconds, new players wont touch it, why? the attitude and mentality that the community has, let us take a guess who brings that… raider io, wowhead, top players, streamers, top guilds,

They are infecting the players even to a point where stuff happens and nobody cares, yet love to complaint about how bad, and distant players are, and there’s no loving.

Just for the love of god use your millions to make a system like raider io, make a site like wowhead, make it internal, just dont let the people that run those websites have any form of control. Strike down on making money off of wow, and it will be a much better game, I gaurantee that.

Mike ybarra or whatever the developer is called also ins’t a good fit, he is the pristine example of someone that dont care, and only wants to profit, his mentality is rotten to the core.

I highly urge you to not use fans, or streamers, or known players to run any websites, or be youtube commenters, or twitch commentors. Do not let the community engage in running the show, it will only destroy the game.

Pay professionals who have studied for years for that particular area of job. People that have paid to study to become good vocally for hosting, and hire professionals to run information websites, please do not let some lazy manipulative, greedy, immoral community “Figure heads” take over everything.

OK, but they’ve internalised the rio score, does everyone suddenly revert to being non toxic?

They should internalise the score system but force raider io to stop, and its staff seize everything and go back to playing the Game. Same with wowhead. Once that happens the Game will be on the right course, and back on track to being healthy for new players, and returning.

We also need stronger investigation into Top Guilds, and backgrounds before they’re able to be promoted in any shape or form. Individual player investigations, trust me every top player would be perm banned if we got to look at everything they’ve done. And some probably jailed.

We also need to look into streamers, and be more direct with what they can do while promoting wow.

And all the other sites, and people around, it all needs stricter rules, and no profiting what so ever.

And who is blizzard for that?
Blizzard is not a court to search people’s life.

wowhead is not bad apart from blizzard support sending you to check wowhead.
That’s stupid the game owner tell you to check a 3rd partie website to get info about their game.

Blizzard are a private company, not the secret police in an authoritarian state.

Not gonna lie, dispensing with people like you would improve the community (see the worked example above)

For me people like you are the main reason why the game is in such terrible state because no matter what Blizzard will do to milk money from you - you will agree and just say it is what it is.

It isn’t because 80% of all staff in any community is corrupt, and doing bad things even illegal things, awful things. In each community, wowhead, raider io, and people are very easily influenced by it. You think such a person as naguura doing bad things aint influencing tons of people to bne the same?

While she does bad things, why not give her a position of authority by hosting the games tournaments, and plaster her all over. and other players doing RMT and doing bad bad things.

This influences a majority of players,.

Do you know that Blizzard has really good relations with wowhead and a lot of this “datamining” is planned leak to boost sellings of the next expansion. Blizzard doesn’t mind wowhead and you arguments are your wrong assumptions. Not only we think different than you but Blizzard as well. If it wasn’t the case Blizzard wouldn’t allow wowhead to datamine.

You basically don’t understand their relation.

Also the real problem of WoW and Blizzard to be exact is predatory-monetisation of every franchise. Since loot boxes and mobile games boomed Blizzard was looking to monetize WoW as much as other companies. It’s not secret that CEO’s of biggest AAA companies know each other. Kotick pushed a lot of practices he saw in EA and other companies. Right now WoW is built like mobile game - to keep you there you have plenty of dailly activities that aren’t really challenging just time consuming and in-game shop is filled with new services.

This is what kills WoW - not the community. We are only asking for some parts of Old WoW to be back

And that’s where you and I seperate. I actually care enough, or have a higher moral compass or we could say I am more cynical I want to see if people are genuine and she aint, while she is helpful you think she would be if she didn’t make money?

And people are not all that different, we’d love to think we’re all different but we’re human we all share greed, survival, and to be the best at the top and some people have the morals to not abuse, or use /do wrong, others dont.

And sadly the wow community is full of them, once that’s fixed then this game will be good again, dont matter what epic conten they bring out, it all comes down to blizzard being in control and not these “Figure heads”

Its what’s immoral, and whats moral, its about integrity.
And dont give me that BS with everyone has their own morall compass, there is universal morals that cant different unless you are in fact a bad individual.

To be honest, its not really much about the money, its the integrity and moral that is lacking. If you base a whole project off of being nice, and caring its for the community, or you’re a streaming acting nice and caring, but you’re actually an A-hole that only wants to profit but dont make that explicitly clear, then you’re betraying peoples trust, and that’s where you influence others badly.

An example,

I run a free boosting community, if I took donations under the table or other things I would hate myself.

If I run a community promoting that I want to help out but I also want to profit in the long run from it, and I make that explicitly clear to people they can make their own assumptions.

You force people to like you and then you confuse them, people are not very smart in fact we’re just what we call other species animals, we can be dumb ,and ignorant, and naive, if you make a person like you veeeery much because you do free things, and advocate for that, but then add an advertisement, then they let it go, then add a patreon page, they let it go.

But the whole moral and integrity behind the project was destroyed. This brings bad influence, and it influences the majority. Not to mention guides bring gaps in social aspects, when you have everything why ask people ,who mingle and be social when you can go get all the information.

Its 101, not rocket science.

@brodany, I am not wrong blizzard might have a good relationship and plan datamining but kek, they do poor investigations, and all the bad I say wowhead do blizzard dont know or either look the other way with.

I’m telling you, its method josh bad and fragnance bad, and all the awful stuff we’ve heard about, it goes on, pedophilia, power, status, and influence brings lots of hurt to innocent people when used by bad bad people.

The problem is you, you dont want to investigate, or be sceptical you want to be shocked and surprised when the damage is done, but voice your ignorant oppinion on peoples posts that actually make sense, and should be taken serious.
