And most of them are absolutely worthless wastes of space, who never do anything so they may as well be dead. One would be forgiven for forgetting that there is more to the Aliance than Humans, Furry Humans and formerly interesting purple pointy eared humans.
I would give everything up if it means we get back Kaelâthas, Volâjin, Cairne and Sylvanas. the current Horde leadership fills me with disgust.
Bringing them back wouldnât really fix anything, as the reasons you dislike current leadership lie in the broader narrative and how they interact, with the established story. Besides Baine Blizzard is going way out of itâS way to make that one an absolutely insufferable piece of
Also Sylvanas is just benched not dead. Good riddance it protects her from being butchered any further.
Sylvanas lost her personality. From a ruthless warlord who does anything to see the enemy defeated she now is her old ranger self again which pretty much means she is an alliance character again. Now she has no value for the Horde any longer.
Weâve seen very little of her actual personality since then. She is still supposed to be the same person. The soul split fundamentally is a copout, because Blizz was too lazy to actually do anything resembling decent storytelling or character growth. Itâs not supposed to be a morality inverter nor does it make her forget anything.
Itâs kind of stupid, because the expansion overall vindicates everything she did, but really faultered at making her act like an actual character. Even small changes could have gone a long way like replacing Jaina, with one of her sisters and setting things up before theyâre resolved could have gone a LONG way toward making the story more palatable.
