Have some faith man… I know Blizz latest lore hasn’t been amongst the top 3 lately. But really, We the players are propably more the Warmongers than they are. If we gave the Lore about the Alliance and the Horde a chance to develop without massive forum outrage eachtime. It might not have stuck at what each where always ‘‘Good at’’ for so many years.
Horde wont lose anything on not being the aggressors or warmongers anymore. Or the Alliance being the bad guy for a change.

That will never happen. Horde is good at being the one attacking first. When we caught the Alliance unprepared they won’t stand a chance. The Alliance will be exterminated for good.

Erevien reminds me of that Japanese soldier who didn’t accept that the war was over and kept fighting for 30 years after WW II. and didn’t believe the USA and Japan are allies now. 
But to be honest, I’m surprised Erevien still gets serious replies like he wasn’t a troll.

There’s no current true Horde. Any chance for a True Horde is gone. In fact there never was a current true Horde in World of Warcraft.
You might have missed the bit where Garrosh went out like a fart in the wind. That Horde is no more, peace for all!

I’m no expert on this at all… But from where I see it, That depends on the Fan your asking.
The Original horde, Without any lore or retcons or story where just Warmongering orcs appearing out of some portal out of nowhere being the bad guys.
The Lore we got In World of Warcraft before Garrosh. Was a Horde(Orcs) free from the Demon corruption. Banding together with other missfit races, In a World (The Alliance) Who would otherwise condem them. …But yeah. Then garrosh happend, And Sylvanas. Hopefully this Council puts an end to the Horde just being bad guys for the sake of just being bad guys.
Late edit: Ooop… Forgot to mention warcraft 3 And the Horde campaign happening… Inbetween the first Horde apperance and World of warcraft.

I doubt the council is gonna last long. Before long people will figure out that the Horde, the current one was interesting for being it’s own thing, not being the Red Alliance. The conflict between the Horde and the Alliance has always been enough, a conflict of interests, a coopetition for resources. Garrosh and Sylvanas didn’t need to happen. They were fine as they were, but I guess the story needs a villain and the Horde is the go-to source for those. So I doubt it’s gonna end with the council.
Neither the Horde or Alliance will rule Azeroth. Azshara alone will be the ruler of whole Azeroth

There is nothing wrong with being bad for as long as you win. See Swtor and the Sith Empire. There is great power in being bad.
The sooner it is abolished the better we are off.
Fine by me really, I think we need to rename our faction.
Except the fact that the sith empire looses in the end. Until Darth sidious happens… And loose again (But those movies don’t count after Vader killed him)
Being fan of being the bad guys is fair and all tho… But it clearly conflicts with literally all the other races except the Orcs and Forsaken’s beliefs.
The Orcs Believe in Honor above all. Where nomadic and are once again free of the demonic corruption from the Legion that drove them to war.
The Forsaken? I don’t know… there have been lore about them showing emotions. But their lore there contradicts allot.
The Tauren? Never been evil or bad. Trolls? ADHD (Berserk) Sure. Supressed by Elves that now are in their same faction? Yes. Still allies? Yes. Bad guys for it? No.
(Also that the Sith empire and Sith in general draws on the raw powers of all Emotions of Hate and anger and negative emotions to become stronger trough the force… The horde does not)

In the game Bioware has the power to make them win. Since they are not part of the official canon. So it is an open end.

The games are known to have happen thousands of years before the movies.
The republic and the Jedi still remain in the Phantom manace. And only two sith, A master and apperentice have survived the Old republic era. After Darth bane.
