Where are Rogue changes?

Every class has 10-100 Paragraphs!!! of text per spec , while all Rogue class gets overall is 4 lines of text with removal of 4 mandatory PvP talents. Oh and they added 1 boring talent to “compensate”.

Why such neglect and disregard? We are paying the sub too?

And it’s not like Rogue is in good shape. Mid dps in Raid on all 3 specs, High dps in M+ on Assa, bottom dps on Sub and Outlaw. No utility. No modern reworks / quality of life changes. Boring passive hero talents, but I guess that’s good, otherwise I need a second keyboard to bind another ability.

All professional tournament rogue players abandoned the class for PvP, Rogue can’t win on a high level, where it usually shined.

What’s going on with Rogue ?

Wrong.

Correct.

Wrong. Outlaw even less than Sub.

Absolutely wrong. What we lack is a raid buff outside of dmg reduction poison (which was quite mandatory during this tiers progression), not utility.

We are fine for PvE (and here the biggest concern is the coin flip tier set). PvP is a different matter (edit: Based on the ladder representation rogue is also fine in Rated PvP).

Also get a bloody dagger for your OH in Outlaw PvE.

Why Dagger for Outlaw offhand?

Poison application rate. Only the energy regen is adapting to your attack speed. This has been the case since ages.

Edit: Also apparently even PvP Outlaws are doing it now.

Huh? All 3 specs are in the top 6, for both boss damage and overall damage…

This has been my only gripe with outlaw.
Having an dagger off-hand while “whatever” on main hand always screwed up my transmog.

Guess I’m gonna have to hunt for a Dagger on my Outlaw, thanks.

As per Rogue design, the notes on reworking the class are stealthed.

Rogues are more than decent. For once its actually good that Blizz isn’t “fixing” what isn’t broken.

OP is just proof that clueless people will whine either way.

Wrong. Stats and ilvl matter more than the weapon type. And even with equal ilvl/stats the difference is like 0.2%.

Not wrong. I am talking about how the poison application rate doesn’t scale with the attack speed but only the energy regen is with that it has been the case since ages.

Yes the difference is small but its still there and at this guys ilvl its not hard to get a dagger with equal or higher ilvl. It was also more a general advise than anything followed by a question from Gerrick that I’ve answered.

We can also go further and point out that he is using the lower ilvl weapon in his MH and the higher one in the OH. And if he wants to use ascension (like for swapping in raids to Assa in the future or something or because its cheaper on his realm or whatever) then he may as well just put it on a dagger and call it a day until the next patch.

The OPs assumption that rogues are in a bad spot is flat out wrong in both PvE and PvP as of current standing.

I’ve seen some Outlaws with daggers in OH, was wondering why.

Rogues aren’t bad per se, they’re very mid, from raids, to M+, to PvP.

Remember outlaw in bfa m+? Or assa in raids in bfa? Sub in PvP? Ye I want that.

Now Rogue, as a pure dps spec, is far from the top. Which is BS.

But the main question of my post was - why we didn’t get any changes, when literally everything else has many?

Mid in which regard? Assa you’ve said yourself they are meta for M+. Outlaw is also not faring badly in M+. Even Sub, the arguably worst spec, can still do its stuff.

In the raid we are more than fine with us being high in the overall meters as well as boss damage meters.

Because there is no need to really alter our gameplay currently. What would you change about Assa, Sub and Outlaw for instance?

“Where are the rogue changes?”

(drums roll)

They vanished.

I feel like rogues are incredibly impactful that a slight nerf (in pvp) won’t make a difference, class got so many tricks and kits that they can perform perfectly.

I like how rogue plays at the moment honestly.

I didn’t do any pvp this season, but pve has been pretty good with assassination.

We’re just not flavor of the month class and that’s ok.

they deleting shadow duel

one of the most interesting skills rogue have had :frowning:
basically you got mordekaiser from league of legends ulti and took guy to shadow realm 1v1 cage fight

I mean they actually just need to write two words “Deleted outlaw”.

Edit: They probably deleted shadow duel because they couldn’t be arsed to fix it.
