Where Are the Strong Male Figures in the Latest Expansion?

Femininity itself is considered problematic. This is why what is supposed to be female characters are purposefully made androgynous or masculine on purpose and there are clear examples of this.

Crystal dynamics is an ideologically motivated company. Their version of Lara Croft an old character first released in 1996 is masculine. Resembling Leon Kennedy of Resident Evil.

She ra the Princess of power first released in 1985. Undeniably female. The 2019 reboot is a boy wearing girls clothes.

Joanna Dark from Perfect Dark original release date 2000 the Nintendo 64 era. Meant to be like a female counter part for James Bond.
Now the “modern day” reimagining of Joanna Dark is masculine. With uniquely masculine features chin and jawline.

Wonder Woman released in 1941 is the oldest character of the list. Yet look at Su1c1de squad kills the Justice League their version of Wonder Woman. Overtly masculine. The broad shoulders the physique and build the masculine jawline and chin.

Microsoft’s mandate to developers to not develop curvy female characters. Biological womens bodies are curvy. They can not help it.

Her name is Nariko from Heavenly Sword. She was an excellent female character without a shred of masculinity.

It seems clear that femininity is on the way out. Androgyny and Masculinity is the replacement for female and feminine characters.

If you hold that image of Faerin. This is not a mistake. You don’t know if that is a Male or Female.

The initial start overall of the War Within. Seems that biological females are the new “men” of World of Warcraft.
Disney Star Wars treatment of Luke Skywalker 2017 Last Jedi. Began the trend of tearing down male characters so they never outshine female characters.

Khadgar is supposed to be Medivhs successor as Guardian of Azeroth. Yet he is the Mansel in distress waiting for Alleria to come save him. Anduin is supposed to be the High King of the Alliance. Yet has a mental breakdown in a dark cave and constantly crying on Faerin’s shoulder as she Mothers him through the expansion.

Well clearly you haven’t come across Dagran II yet. Absolute cinema.

So, I just did the quest involving the General in the final zone after capping his reputation…

Yet another allied male character unceremoniously killed off and then chastised for a heroic sacrifice even as the women seem to never suffer any meaningful consequences themselves.

Of course the former queen is safe and well (after a fashion). Of course her secretive implied lover is also safe and well. It’s so laughably predictable.

Start killing off some of the allied women in the case, Blizzard. Seriously.

Edit: Double post due to forum lag.

It would seem that there is ongoing campaign of censorship for such discussions.
The fact that the Censors and Enemies of Free Speech has not yet shut down this thread is confusing.

Why call it “General Discussion” if they ban discussions?

The dynamics of Males and Females have not returned to form.
Males and Females should not be adversarial but complimentary as they strive to survive - have fun and thrive in the World of Warcraft.

Yeah now it’s only done by 5 ft skinny women lol

Free speech does not exist in corporate owned domains. Love it or hate it, c’est la vie.

I would recommend you to take the discussion in a place like Twitter instead.

Private forums are not public spaces, but curated private spaces just like a night club and the owner decides if they want something or not regardless of how fair that is.

Odd. It seems like Blizzard Forums is no different to Reddit.
But yes there are those that push censorship. Even though discussions are on what is happening in the game.

Understanding that it is just another Reddit site. Allows one to make informed choice.
You seem to be pushing several threads however.
Male and female dynamics have changed. But yes activists in positions of power are driving these changes.

But yes. Time to give up. Reddit is not the place for discussions.
WoW forums is not the place for discussions either. This is just false advertising.

I do not have a Twitter account.
But yes you are correct. Blizzard Forums does not permit discussions. False flaggers understand they have the backing of “moderators” to censor whatever they want censored.

I have also resisted making a twitter account for as long as possible, but it ended up being the best avenue for reaching out customer support for various services.

Also since the change in who is in charge, Twitter is probably the best / most neutral place for the discussion you are trying to have here.

Meanwhile reddit is definitely the worst thanks to the subreddit jannies on a power trip

Mandatory inclusion propaganda? I’m glad you brought this up bc I had the exact same impression while leveling up. At some point you notice, why is everyone a woman around here? o.O I guess it’s a good reminder that we actually don’t notice when everyone’s a man… but 50/50 would be the ideal ratio imo, rather than a female dominated storyline.

Activists in positions of power will drag the WoW further down DEI path. Even if they end up like Concord.
Just mourne it’s loss should that happen.

Blizzard forums is just another Reddit.
Just took some time to realize this.

America as a whole has changed. The current / former Regime understand and realising that they are the fringe minority. As the vast majority of people have rejected them and what they stood for.

But hey.
This is Reddit now.

How is that a problem though? As long as it’s sliders, why not let ppl have more options, maybe someone would prefer to play their char like that. That doesn’t impact you at all. Same with all the woke complaints in BG3 - you can totally avoid all of that. As long as it’s not forced on you or doesn’t dominate the entire storyline, it’s fine imo.

The problem comes when a game is so inclusive it completely eradicates classic white male/female characters. Veilguard is a good example of this, everyone’s a dwarf, dark skinned, or has a thick accent, etc… I’m having a hard time finding party members I can identify with. Ofc, it’s been like that for everyone else until recently… but in the name of inclusion game creators seem to have excluded all the white, straight options. Go figure.

We would notice if the setting where everyone is a man was a synchronized swimming game instead of a game about violence and warfare.

The old Blizzard knew that the best way to include women in their war heavy stories was to have them be beautiful female characters who are strong. That set of characteristics appeals to both male and female players

odd to be on a Reddit site.
But White Males H3t3rosexuals are always excluded.
Battlefield 5 added White Male into their profanity filters.
Concord specifically banned White characters from their rosters.
Discrimination on the basis of skin color and ethnicity has a term for that.
