frost is in a good spot. Idk about unholy but i think its easily glad viable with Windwalker or Warrior or Dh as teammates

Why would you blame a class just because some people donāt want to play with you? Everyone is free to do whatever.

When literally every melee spec is in a good spot then people dont feel forced to reroll to stuff like frost dk who are good but not op.
If you struggle as frost dk its 100% your fault. Nothing else.
You were talking about glad and r1 and yet your argument is 2200. You can clearly see that at higher rating the DK shares the lowest representation together with a lock in 3s and is absolutely horrible in 2s.
Right now in both EU and NA there is one DK barely making in r1 cutoff.
You must be blind or straight delusional to keep arguing that āDK is basically as good as warrior/druid/priest/paladin/xxx you just need to git gud!ā when multir1 AWC players are struggling there.
How many people have to be r1 on the class/spec so someone can say itās viable?
Mathematically I would say low average part would be the point where it goes from viable to nonviable. With around 50 r1 spots and 12 classes avaible the average number for each class would be 4.17. We can round it down to 4 people per class. This would mean that anything below that would be below average. Low average would mean the half of it, so 2.
And DK has one in EU at lower end of cutoff and one in NA slightly below cutoff which is way too low even for the low average.
Of course you could argue that since the amount of r1 spots is low this is not representative value due to small sample data, however if we take the DK representation in every arena bracket and region above 2.4k, even above 2k, hey, even 1.6+ its still too damn low.
And I am not taking in the account the overall DK representation in ladder, the spec representation and the rating value within the cutoff itself.
How many got r1 last season? Must be more than 50 surely? Isnt it a percentage?
Wouldnāt this require to have the same amount of people playing every class? If there are already less people playing class/spec X because they find it boring, do these requirements of yours still stay the same?
season is just sort of too boring for me . if i didnt have friends playing i wouldnt play tbh.

2200 right now is pretty much glad later in the season.

in NA are quite a few dks at higher ratings. way more than in EU.
never said its on the same level i am just saying they are in a good spot. #
there are also very few dhs and assa rogues above 2400 in comparison but both these specs are still strong in a few combs.
I dont like the attitude that as long as your spec isnt top 3 you guys come to the forum and cry and put all blame on poor balance and whatever while in reality your spec is fine its just more niche and not op in every single comb.
of course less people are playing frost than ret or ww or warrior because frost only really shines in melee cleaves and is bad in 2s. So its not a spec many want to play or reroll to. But that doesnt mean frost is trash tier.

There are different reasons for that tho.
You are at 2,1k and not higher not because warrior is bad.
I am at 2,1k not because druid is bad.
We are at this rating due to our own choice.
As I always keep saying, there is no incentive for climbing high, especially top X on class X. If there actually were some special rewards, you would see different numbers, thatās for sure.
Not the (dis)balance (and lfg) keeps the people away from playing more and climbing higher. Itās the lack of rewards.
I feel like the current state of PvP is THE worst expansion ever. Iāve never had so little fun doing PvP as I do now.
1: I both agree and disagree, the Ilvl on the different ranks of PvP gear is way to high, but the ilvl on the PvP gear compared to PvE gear isnāt high enough. I donāt get why Blizzard have this annoying idea that PvP gear should be useless in PvE but PvE gear needs to be viable in PvPā¦ Either have both at the same ilvl in both PvE and PvP or have PvP gear be equally better for PvP as PvE gear is for PvE.
2: I fully disagree with you here, the current state of damage is awfull, there are just way too much damage going around and Iām so sick of loosing matches because my teammate got killed in 0.3 sec. I enjoyed it when kills ment to get off CC chains at the right moments, I canāt even express how much I hate the current burstiness. This expansion have had more āone shotā builds than all other expansions put togheter, i mean right now there are like 3 rogue builds that is able to more or less kill anyone in one globalā¦
3: I fear that the current PvP playerbase will just keep to decreasing as there are a lot more people that are fed up by the insane inbalanced state at the moment, especially as a healer main this expansion is pritty much cancer.

Playing a boring class vs the best of the best, while literally not getting anything for that is just not fun in the long run.
