I hate your opinion! But it’s a little like choosing between 4 different kind of candy that all taste good :wink:

I would vote nr 4 - Copy and keep 2 versions of the same character. But I could also make a new Shaman if needed. Hmmm when I think about it, it would be fun to level 1-60 with TBC talents…

If what I read in Wowhead is what I think it is, the options are, in other words:

  1. You can only have your characters in either Classic or TBC (they say transfer, not copy).
  2. You won’t be able to play your Classic characers on TBC. You can skip lvling from 1 to 58 though.
  3. Everybody starts from 0. No continuity from Classic whatsoever.
  4. Essentially the same as #1.
  5. None of the above.

#5 would be my option: just allow us to progress our characters to TBC and also keep a copy of them in a Classic (vanilla) server.

I just want my classic characters to be able to contiue the journey trough the dark portal.
With mounts and titles obtained.
Why even bother getting them if they don’t carry over.

I just completed the survey, it just asks you to whether you think your server should automatically progress to TBC, or whether your server should stay on Vanilla and you transfer off to TBC.

I selected the option to progress my server to TBC.

They probably just send it to random X% of users.

I got the survey but didn’t complete it straightaway. Popped in to complete it a short while ago and was told

“… This survey has reached its quota and responses are no longer being solicited”

Good idea, tbh i didnt take a great deal of time writing the post.

For me I’d like a draenei shaman so whatever the options or end result is, I’ll have to start a fresh character. I would take a 58 but then the character wouldn’t have a history.

Would suck to be 60 levels behind others though if not fresh server.

Well you wouldn’t be 60 levels behind any other Alliance Shaman.
