the most hated character in wow has gone missing after getting his throat slice by tyrande.
his attitude was perfectly made to exist in revendreth, i mean… have you seen the similarity between revendreath wearing, player leather wear and nathanos?
we don’t even know if sylvanas has restored him 0_o.
or could it be a world boss in the future…

I would call it more… Realistic.
On his “stay a while and listen” choice he talks about the alliance and he explains why he hate them. Because they where attacking the blood elves when their shiny prince arthas was doing his job while horde was clearing up their mess.
Now look at them?
They cry in the forums for “genocide” forgetting all their own.
With his passing hopefully they will remove seething shore
I didn’t hate Nathanos either, but he seemed to rub many up the wrong way. I liked his sass.
I really liked Nathanos, he was the only character that didn’t rub your ego for being the grand champion of the horde that saved azeroth by killing a bird or something during BFA
I guess between him allegedly being a self insert (I didn’t read the books) and his seemingly one sided affection for Sylvanas, it doesn’t make him that popular.
For me I just don’t like anything that is loyal to Sylvanas (especially with past writing hinting that she was doing stuff to get immortality, not caring who she hurts in the process). For me killing him was the highlight of the pre-patch and even if he eventually gets redeemed with Sylvanas or something like that hopefully he can still be a boss fight somewhere this expansion.
He’ll probably be a boss. And I bet we don’t even get to kill Sylvanas after all this, she’ll ‘be saved and free of the jailers chains…’ haha
I liked him at first, but as we moved through BFA he seemed to drift from “amusingly sarcastic” to “annoyingly superior” with a side order of “teachers pet”
Particularly given that he was rarely actually seen doing anything to justify that superior attitude other than being Sylvanas lapdog, it started to grate. Alright at the end of the X-Pac he held off a raid of players on his own, but for most of the expansion he just got us to do all the actual work while droning on about how superior he was.
Even my forsaken loyalist characters got fed up of him. Sylvanas was a legend and warchief, so that sort of attitude from her would be expected. Nathanos just started to feel like he was leaching off her authority because he was her favourite.
He was bad Sass.
That was his major failing to my mind. Not that he was Sassy, but that he was just bad at it.
The writing was…eww…

I almost hated him tho in SoB when it was bugged and you closed the chat diag that popped and it opened right away and chat started from the beggining…
Thankfully i added move anything and removed chat dialogues 
After every NPC praises you as the Champion of Azeroth for spending 2 minutes clicking crystals in a world quest…
We have one NPC who lays reality on you like “actually m8, ur garbage” and people get into a fit.
