Seems i only like vanilla and tbc, i have 60s on era parked but i dislike era due to it just being gkdp and guys buying t3, there is no real mmo there its just a lop sided version of the game at this point.
I rolled on the zandalar tribe server as its locked and im playing there currently but its clear to see the player base won’t survive, it’s just not popular enough to make it an enjoyable warcraft experience.
There is no TBC server of course. I quit SOD in p3 and went back to it for a few days and i think it might be worse now (subjective opinion). I did a few mop remix chars as ive not played retail in years and i find it to be worse than SOD.
Pservers are dead at the moment, im not interested in whitemane wotlk or turtle wow clsss plus.
Where are all the gamers? Why is there not a single good option out there for actual vanilla fans?
Go to the Classic Era PvE servers such as Pyrewood Village.
There are no GDKP and no dungeon boosting spam - and obviously no world PvP but to be honest: that’s long gone on Firemaw as well (unless you call lvl 60’s ganking lvl 40 players in STV for PvP).
Don’t forget it’s summer time. Right in the middle of the vacation period in many European countries.
People are on their vacation trips.
And then it’s hot. Even in the night. Where I live, temperatures at night don’t get any lower than 20 degree celsius at the moment. The computer just stays off.
In the evening, I go over the plants on my balcony, then grab a bottle of really cold local Rosé and spend the time outside on my balcony reading or just relaxing while I’m sipping wine.
thats great and all but i just finished 4 years of serious graft doing a masters and missed a whole bunch of raiding during classic, also im scottish so this weather you speak of doesn’t exist
im tough but i wouldn’t be interested in playing HC where everyone boosts characters, bugs kill people and everyone roaches out with petris tbh. I looked at it and saw too many issues.
I was also was given a forum warning for even posting this. Is the whole blizzard experience dead for classic players is that basically it in a nut shell? Seems so.
zandalar tribe was locked for anyone to transfer to it a couple of months ago and there’s been a re-roll project on it for some time, what you are suggesting with the PvE cluster is what this server is, except its not on the PvE cluster it’s on zandalar tribe.
Im not really looking to play on the old era servers PvE or PvP, what im saying is i don’t think playing on the era PvE cluster is a better than the PvP one, because i’d have to play on a PvE server for one, and it’s not as populated as zandalar tribe.
I get that. But still, it doesn’t help. People are at the moment just doing other things. They will be coming back to the game slowly starting mid september. That’s my guess.
Well, as far as I’m concerned, you’re lucky. In summer time, southern Germany nowadays is not far from what one used to find in southern France in the 70s.
I’ll have to move north eventually, if it get’s worse here. Maybe I should look for something in Scotland .

I think it is 3rd time someone tried to re-live Zandalari - I participated last year when someone promoted it as a fresh start - it worked for a month and then all people were gone again.
So I was just suggesting the PvE cluster since you asked for a realm which was not dead and not full of GDKP. Now I am unsure what you are actually looking for.
Well everyone’s in t3, the games completed already right? im just looking for a warcraft experience on vanilla or tbc anywhere that has progression going on.
Doesn’t have to be a fresh server, i just don’t see the point in joining a guild with naxx on farm and collecting loot everyweek, or getting blasted in BG’s while i farm gear.
There are guild progressing in different raids - everything from first MC run to full Naxx clears. If you want the fresh server experience then there is no real option for the moment.
Just play on Firemaw and join one of the many guilds that have SR or other similar loot systems if that’s what you enjoy. No one is forcing you to do GDKP and there are plenty of guilds recruiting.
Some guilds are still progressing in nax too if you think having stuff on farm is “too easy” and you enjoy wiping on basic boss mechanics repeatedly with a bunch of clueless noobs who are still learning the game for that authentic “progression” experience.
If you spend your time analysing everything non stop you’ll never do anything. Just log in make a charactor and enjoy playing era.
