I can’t imagine where they will take the story after that… knowing blizzard the way i do after all these years? I seriously cant see it…
the void is the final boss in the mythical wow verse… And blizzard has this way of writing story where we are the main character like goku from dragonball always defeating enemies and adversaries stronger and more more powerful.
the next villain is more world ending than the last. and we the heroes are always solving world ending avengers level threats.
like where does it end? Are we all gonna shoot energy beams and turn super sayians soon too? Every next big bad has to be more world ending and powerful on a cosmic scale than the last. where does it end Diane?
When are we gonna just return to average heroes dealing with down to earth stuff again? Or is blizzard incapable of making good stories with high risks. without putting the entire world at stake making the enemy a dragonbal character powerful everytime?
come to think of it… the end of the war against the void. the main biggest bad in wow is the end of an era.
what would you name this era? warcraft 3 to the last titan.
what will blizzard even do after the last titan? xD attack us with space godzlilla out of nowhere? I though the void was the final boss they would spend several expansions in between to get to. I had never in my wildest imagination had thought. Blizzard would spend their final mythical lore bad guy in a 3 expansion saga.
Who is the enemy gonna be after the last titan? Who is gonna top the void? Either we all of a sudden get attacked by a random new space godzila world ending threat. Or we get introduced to some new down to earth story telling.
after making this thread ive just come to realize. i am tired of being the main chracter in the story telling. the champion all the time -.- i just wanna be skullfox that just was there and did things. as a foot soldier or something.
Azeroth wakes up, and restarts the Cosmos anew, being the source of all realities. That does not mean that everything that has happened will not have any meaning or will cease to be, rather, we may see some pleasant changes. For example, she may restore the lost souls of Arthas and Garrosh.
Im done with that “champion” thing. Where ever they go with story after this saga. Im out for every single champion come help us story. Maybe i roll to Vulpera or winged vulpera and start do Vulpera stuff whatever Vulperas do
My mate whose uncles, brothers, aunties, cousins, sisters best friends, boyfriend works for Blizzard said it going to be Gidwin Goldbraids and link back to eventually cleansing the plaguelands properly.
There are many indicators that the Titans were just like any other Pantheon, that is, forged in a Zereth, that somehow glitched out of their domain into space and manifested themselves through some handy, poor worldsouls. That means that after we are done with the Titans, someone else could take their place, much like how Pelagos ascended into essentially godhood in Shadowlands.
True Light vs True Shadow. The Light and the Void we see, you know, that yellow and that purple magic, are merely ordered, or even created magics by the First Ones, while the REAL Light and Shadow, which clashed and gave rise to all the Warcraft universe, await us outside the bounds of the known Cosmological Map. There are some hints. We can see some particularly evil characters, such as the Infinite Dragonflight, the Jailer, and Y’shaarj use a pure black type of shadow magic, and not the purple or blue that is associated with the Void or Domination. In contrast, the Bronze Dragonflight, the forces of the First Ones in Zereth Mortis and in Oribos, and Elune all use a plain white type of light magic. They (the Bronze and the First Ones, forces opposed to the Jailer and the Infinite, who wield black spells) also use the sands of time/fate as their symbols. In the Tazavesh dungeon, this white magic is called “Hyperlight”. Murozond also spoke of the “True End Time”, calling the one we saw, in which the Void has won, a “blessing”. This is perhaps what the Jailer warned us about before shutting down.
The other possibility is that they drop all the Mythical concepts and focus on Azeroth microscopically, which, to me, is stupid. We saw it in BFA: Just some months ago, we killed an actual Worldsoul/Titan (Argus), and now we are struggling to handle a fat dude with a shotgun in Boralus. Like, really?
I am not alking about having them as villains again. I was thinking that mabye Azeroth might “respawn” them into existence so as to erase the injustice that both these tragic characters’ souls suffered during the Shadowlands. After that, Jaina and Arthas will depart into the horizon, holding hands, and we will never see them again. Garrosh will follow them too, 'cause he is a weirdo.
Retcon (again…) or some far flung outpost of the galaxy GH602 where some blue skinned Orcs are fighting yellow skinned humans and Khadgar needs our help to find exactly 69999 rainbow coloured crystals to sort out the mess.
Your main villain is Jaina Proudmoore who finally reveals she was a murloc. (Daughter of the Sea is the giveaway, I’m calling it right now)
you guys are cooking. Its fun though but without a main bad villain or plot or entity or whatever. No one has any idea what to make a warcraft story out of.
