Which class won BfA?

Now BfA is nearly over. Which class would you say won this expansion as a whole? Was strong throughout the entire expansion, start to finish. For PvE, PvP and M+.

Tough choice looking back, I’d personally say lock or mage. Mage started out lower in raids through uldir and bod, but fire started killing it palace onwards. Always been a top pick in keys the entire expansion. And a top PvP class. Locks just been strong the entire expansion in raids and PvP. But never really been a meta key class.

The 2 button class they introduced in the previous expansion.

Edgy monks or something.

The expansion changed with the addition of corruption and getting the correct corruption totally changed play. Tanks with a lot of Twilight Devastation were gods at the end. So it’s hard to say which class won, as corruption broke the expansion

Rogue, warlock and mage, at any season there was a spec which was amazing in pve or pvp or both

                                                      ______
                                                     / I
                                                    / I
                                    Arcane mage: / _____________

But honestly I think it’s a Demon Hunter that was good! They were top mythic + since season 1 I believe!

Also that graph took me really long to make xD

Demon hunter and rogue are clear winner imo. They just dominated BFA in every single aspect of the game.
Lock was a raid and pvp winner, but regarding M+, it’s nope.
For tanks, brew master was the strongest, even when Warrior was made decent.
As for healers, holy paladin and rest druids are way ahead.

Tanks that ninja pull are not gods. TD is incredibly overrated. On the other hand, versatility stacking tanks, now those are gods.

Rogue.
One spec which has been busted from the start.
Another spec that is still very strong.
It’s just weird that the best class also has the worst spec, sub.

Tomorrow I can slap on rank 6 TD, aww yeah.

Dh by far , both in pve and pvp

dh. and hunter.

And mage to a lesser extent.

Was p. happy with Paladin. For solo pve it wins at least. I can solo most things in ret, not much more I need.

Rogues prob as they have been the winning class since this games inception. Have not at least seen any other class dodge nerf hammers or pruning as well as rogues.

i d say resto druids.

Rogues always had at least one spot in m+ groups since season 1 until season 3 for shroud, but there is still no reason to not take a good outlaw since they are pretty good. They always had spots for raiding as well and pvp… well that’s an obvious one.

Dh is just… dh. I rerolled to one to have easier time getting into pug groups and it worked, even though i most likely will never touch it after this expansion. The ridiculous furious gaze stacking pretty much broke this class since its equal to a mini bloodlust every 15~ seconds and that attack speed obviously gave us better proc rate for trinkets, corruption, etc. It also brings great utility to m+ with aoe stun, st stun, darkness, cc.

In 8.3 there are many specs that became high tier dps thanks to stat corruptions, but if we look at the expansion as a whole then these two classes are the clear winners in my opinion.

Havoc DH.
BM Hunter.
Rogues.
Those 3 were top from 8.0 until now.

Lesser cases: Fire Mage (took Mechagon+Azerite to make them S tier in PvE), Destruction Warlock (S tier in PvP when stacking Expedient, not so good otherwise), any Vers stacking healer in PvP, any TD stacking DPS in AoE.

Rogues never get changes either. My assa rogue in SL is basically identical to Bfa.

Anyway I’d say rogue, lock, mage, DH and HPala. I guess prot warr for m+ mentions

Rdruid/rogue/fmage imo

Obviously you didn’t play warlock in season 1.
