Today, wanted to ask:

Which one of dead lore characters you wished was still alive?

For example…
Dead kings like Varian Wrynn? Lei shen? Perenoldes?
Warchiefs and chieftains likd Orgrim Doomhammer? Durotan (either MU or AU)? Grom? Cairne?
Troll leaders like Zul’jin? Rastakhan?
Traitor princes like Arthas? Kael?
Prophets like AU Velen? Zul? Or the seer Ner’zhul?
Heroes like Anduin Lothar? Broxigar?
Demon lords like Archimonde and Kil’jaeden?
Or even minor characters, like Zuni? Or Anveena and Taretha?

And many many other dead and fallen ones, whom we may miss…

I wish Nazgrim had been allowed to stay dead instead :disappointed:

We need to actually kill off more characters. Most current lore characters tend to occupy space they have no place in and bring about a space of stagnancy. Jaina? She should have perished in Siege of Savage Primitive City.

Dead characters should also stay dead unless there’s actually a story to be told with bringing them back.

Cairne Bloodhoof, the true Tauren chieftain. Baine may be High Chieftain now, but he lacks the wisdom and backbone of his father.

Though his death was unfortunate, it was a testament to his character. His story will be told for generations to come.

Maraad. He was such a cool and different character to have for the draenei. Could have been an interesting balancing act between him and Velen. He was so cool!

But nah. He had to die for the sake of Yrel. A character that has already been made into a one note villain. Such a waste.

yeah I know, what I’m saying is that if he had stayed dead before Legion happened I would have been saying I wish he was still alive. But now I wish he had been left 4 dead.

He wasn’t left 4 dead, he was taken prisoner by maiev again?
From some point i started to think Maiev was going great lengths because it was the only man that could keep up with herfor 1000s of years.

Aye, wish they did more with him… that man has 1000 year fictional lore behind him… only to be assblasted out of existence 1 raid tier into the game.

Agreed and with us interacting with his spirit I’m starting to get the impression that Blizz regrets killing him off.

“He’s not dead!” you might object, to which I would retort that their post-MoP treatment of the character killed him off more effectively than any sword or spell ever could.
