I will unlock and just lvl up to Max then put it on the shelf with other 24 chars.
About class may be survival Hunter or warrior.
I have been waiting on them to level up a hunter. Though seeing their totems I might just make it shaman now… Don’t know yet 
Should be able to unlock when they go live.
For the mount only probs, foxes aren’t my most anticipated race.
Mechagnomes though, I do plan to lvl one to 120.
Definitely going to be leveling one, but since I main Alliance, I won’t be. I’ll be going mechagnome warlock for sure though just because of the female hairstyles.
Why not both? That’s what I’ll be doing 
easy for alts.

It really depends on how the next expansion will work, and we don’t know that yet
