Hello,
I am working on the Whodunnit? achievement from the Secrets of Azeroth event.Tricked-Out Thinking Cap toy from the Anniversary bundle.
Because of this, the quest “The Tricked-Out Thinking Cap” (ID 77237) is automatically flagged as completed on my character, even though I never actually received or played through the quest. I have checked with the command:
/script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(77237))
It shows true , but Fangli Hoot never offered me the quest, and I cannot progress through the clue-finding step that is required for Whodunnit? .
Could you please reset this quest chain for me or grant me manual completion credit so I can properly finish the Whodunnit? achievement?

You need to submit that exact text, if it will fit, as a Support Ticket in-game or on this site, in the Support section.
This quest seems to have two problems - yours, and a problem where the previous quest did not reward the Cap. Maybe they’re the same.
I am trying to do secrets of azeroth to get the felcycle mount. I have completed the parts for the spear, and did the quest for the challice. I tried to do the Tricked-Out Thinking Cap quest, but the quest ‘Unfinished Thinking Cap’ didn’t reward me with the toy. I checked my bags, mail, toy collection and alts but the toy is nowhere to be found.
The quest ‘Unfinished Thinking Cap’ is flagged as completed.

I finished the “Unfinished Thinking Cap” quest. Turned in the required item to Fangli Hoot. Quest is marked as completed but I didn’t receive the Tricked-Out Thinking Cap. I tried reloggin, changing to different character, reset my PC, etc. like...
