Thats community haha nothing to do with pve or pvp.
And in the moment you get 1k4, all your loot will get upgraded to 207 through honor, making it never a waste.

Lol is there still someone below 240 ilvl? Literally every single pve player is around 240 now. 226 is like pvp player ilvl lol.
There is around 2000 chars with gear higher than 220 ( best one 227) acording to wowprogres.
Many of those characters are simply “alts” of very top players to fill rooster.
Even more of those chars is wearing BOEs worth milions of gold ( which cost same no matter if u are pvper or pver)
And at least every other of them is both high pvp and pve player.
So yea, no idea where “all people with 225ilvl” are, but there realy isnt that much of them. And when it comes to pvp vs pve this is probably first time in years where pvper have it better, simply because u can target your gear and u have 1-2 items per week, just like mythic raiders.
On the other hand, if u look at m+ players, they have it worst. Every single key pusher have to either play glad rating or do mythic raid, idealy both, just so he can push…
I’ve yet to meet a PvE player with more than 215. Most I’ve played with are 205~213 max.
a synopsis of Vinzora’s approach of pvp: defend flag carrier in bgs, spam arenas and last but not least jump around the pillars in arenas:) might try that: elite pvp gear here i come!!!
xD
happy new year ppl
And don’t forget an entire vendor of PvP items giving us 260 item level items each time we play a game! Oh wait.
I’ve been honour capped for three weeks now as there’s nothing to spend it on.
I think it is extremely rare at best to be 225. Highest farmable ilvl in pve is 210 from M15. Higher ilvl comes only from weekly activities such as great vault or raids.
So to be 225, you’d need to not only farm M15 like crazy, but also be substantially lucky with raid and vault drops.
And lo and behold, Elite PvP vault drops 233 weapons, just like Mythic Sire.
+14 is enough to get your 226 loot from the chest
“All”. Meanwhile most pve players struggle to gear due to the droprate nerfs, Vault gives tons of people the same items every week, with the options often being for the same slot (M+ weapon, raid weapon). Have you read the forums you post on, or is it just a personal diary for you?
Pve players literally have to use the pvp gearing system because they think it’s the only way to progress beyond 180-190. And it shows - so many vers stacked players with almost no other stats, wondering why they get kicked from normal Nathria pugs. >-<’’
I’m 200, our main tanks struggled to even reach 190, while a couple of our ranged dps have lucked out and are like, 205… Go do PvE, see how easy you find doing 30 M+ dungeons and being stuck on dps check raid bosses with nothing but bows and daggers dropping for the same 2 dps in your party who already have their bis…
players that are 225 ilvl this early are players that grind all sorts of content in the game. We know that pve drop rate sucks a big one, you can go many mythic+ keys without a single drop, same goes for raids, people been clearing entire 10/10 hc without any drops at all. This isn’t that uncommon to happen with 15% drop chance on average. In fact the chance of receiving 0 loot from 10/10 HC clear is 19,6 percent. That’s a lot, it’s like 1 in 5 raid clears bring no loot at all.
Grinding rating in pvp has been a common strategy for higher end pve players to gear up faster. If you clear mythic raids and +20 keys in time then you can reach 1800 rating in arena, it’s not that difficult to do. 1800 yields 220 gear which is better than what drops from mythic+ dungeon chests (that caps out at mere 210)
I liked WOD system where pvp gear had mediocre item level in PVE content but very high item level in PVP content. Even simple honor gear was better in PVP than heroic raid gear, where conquest gear was better than mythic raid gear. IIRC this was +40 ilvl buff if you were in a battleground or arena. Enough to negate any differences and prevent being forced into grinding everything to excel at one thing.
What you’re not considering is they are using two major gear sources (M+ and Mythic raids) while you are using only one (PVP). I’m doing HC raiding and all I have from it is a set of 213 bracers - my PvP gear beats everything I got for other slots.
I’m sure we can complain about M raiding but ultimately it’s really exclusive content that the vast majority of players won’t do, except maybe Shrieking being free
well 220ish pvp items come with duelist rating, so around 2.1k? which is far from being reachable for the majority of pvpers
I dunno about all, I’m still at 216 also the reason most players are 220+ is because they do both PvE and PvP.
i guess nothing comes easy in this expansion u need to spend lot of effort and many hours on everything if u want progress and good gear
Yeah, but the end of dungeon on +14 is only 207.
Only if you have rating. Which you and the other guy have never gained, and therefor you shouldn’t comment on because you have no clue. So… yea.
Both 207 and 210 are insufficient to get an average ilvl of 225.
Cutting edge mythic raiders that are probably top 100 world (bcoz thats who is at those ilvls atm, funny op linked trill whos is an incredibly talented pvpers and is a world 1st raider).
Most of whom have basically unanimously ditched m+ for gearing till after they’ve already got the gear from raid/pvp/BOEs because m+ is garbage to gear in bar the vault weekly if you mythic raid.
Op is whining that world 1st raiders, you knwo the people who are the best of the best this game has to offer, are higher ilvl than her. Not even consdiering that these world 1st raiders are incredibly skilled at both PVP and PVE.
just because im not very good at pvp(never said i was) does not mean i dont know how the system works.
so again try harder.
Yep that’s all pve players.
