Do you guys also get insta kicked when you say anything to/about the tank? Tanks being crybabies is one thing, what i can’t understand is why so many just vote ‘‘yes’’ when there is no reason for the kick?
Do they play a tank just to abuse the kick feature or what?
^ as above, sounds like you got pissy at the tank, and the fact you’re hiding behind on a classic character to hide your identity proves my point further.
As tanks we have to deal with a lot of back seat gamers thinking they know best, if you think you can do a better job, go tanking yourself, or else keep quiet and just focus on your job
Trust me, i’ve said nothing that’s considered as toxic, my point is that you cant say ANYTHING to them without getting booted.
Your comment really proves that you cant say anything without making you mald like the german kid, saying that im hiding being my vanilla char etc LOL. I don’t have a main or lvl 60 yet, so i haven’t changed my profile pic, not that i care about my profile pic to begin with -_- This aint instagram.
Don’t make my life harder and you’re more than welcome to stay in the group.
If you pull for me, fail at evading certain packs, don’t interrupt/stun/los or whine about the pace (which you have no right to set - tanks set it based on what the healer can handle, not on what dps wishes and wants), then you should expect to get vote kicked.
A lot of the time they can manage surviving for 30+ seconds while the healer is drinking, and if it wasn’t a wipe that kind of comment is not really needed.
Don’t know about sensitive, but I’ve come across my fair share of them that abuse their position as being a role in high demand, giving them a false sense of power of “you know you can’t kick me, you need me!”, and being absolute dicks…
Yes, tanks are crybabies and you’ll always end up getting kicked so don’t bother fighting, also people saying that tanks set the pace… no, not at all.
If dps can blow up mobs in no time or healer can carry, there’s no reason to go slow.
Stop thinking you are special because you pull mobs, because you are not. Other players can have more knowledge, awareness, better strategies, pathing, etc.
Also, just because someone is playing DPS role at that given point, doesn’t mean that they always do, so start by respecting everyone you tankards.
Agreed, but that’s not the always the case. If I set the pace based on what the healer can handle, then dps becomes irrelevant. I’ll constantly monitor healer mana and group health before I keep pulling either more mobs or larger packs altogether. It also comes down to major cooldowns the group has available.
