Of course if healer can’t handle then you’ll have to slow a bit, but you’re missing the main point which is that just playing a tank doesn’t make you in control of everything or better than anyone.
I urge you to try and group with me as MT for whatever and see if I can’t change your mind.
Learn to respect your tanks people. We put up with enough nagging from others, try to make their day better for once.

There are flowapawa tanks. Found some along the way, pulling like a little kid on a play ground. Dying, and if you tell him “…but why?” he will vote kick you because …you HURT his FEELINGZZ!

and its impossible to make you understand that no matter the situation, saying anything to a tank will just anger them and poof ur booted.
they dont set the pace… they set the route and which pack gets pulled and like you sai dif dps can kill it fast then more will/probably get pulled so DPS sets the pace BUT tank pick route BUT problem IS ever since 8.3 I notice ALOT of DPS acting like they are the ones that decide what gets pulled but YOU ARE NOT. I dont give a shiit that your favorite stweamer is pulling that or skipping this, I linked route in chat before we start and if you dont like it kick me
You spit on tanks and call them crybabies but for example I did necrotic wake AND IN LIKE 90% of runs I HAD TO EXPLAIN TO DPS what to do with buffs and if we had kyrian when to summon his owl and what to do in order to get buff
Also did necrotic wake yesterday and just left in half of a dungeon, rogue decided he is god in dungeon and he skipped the miniboss before the bridge even tho I had all cooldowns and anima orb and then later we had warrior using spear on random group during TYRANNICAL week and key holder is defending him like" he didnt know". HE DIDNT KNOW IN M6? I know its not huge key but still HOW CAN HE NOT KNOW? wtf is he even doing in m+ not prepared
Point is DPS can come unprepared and what not and still everyone will be okay with it but if tank comes like that run is fcked up in most cases…

There is a difference between leading and pulling. Tanks pull, but everyone knowledgeable enough can lead.
Still, the problem is the “Do what I say or I leave” mentality.
To be honest not only Tanks are sensible or have ego issues.
I remember just this expansion I was kicked from a Heroic Sanguine Depth because I told healer (shaman) and DPS to kick and move from stuff.
Not saying Tanks are always right by any means, sometimes though Healer and DPS can’t keep up with the most obvious mechanics… you end up assuming people on Heroics are new even if thy have full Heroic gear.
And to be honest some DPS think way too high of themselves and are the first ones that fail; just ask the DH on my Plaguefall 9 that pull a blob into last boss and bolster it making the group fail the timer then blamed me (Tank) and Healer.
Move on and queue again, that’s the way to go.

Its not problem IF DPS COMES PREPARED but thats NOT THE CASE at least from my experience so solution is come prepared and tanks wont have to act like gods and it will be smooth and GG RUN

Tanks are the most entitled whining kids I have ever met, it’s never their fault, take 0 criticism, take 0 advice, they know best. In reality tanks for lower content can be braindead and perform but somehow they think they are special… And yes I do tank myself on alts as well, I have never met any insults towards me so maybe if you get toxicity in your parties that’s on you as a tank.
It’s not a tank issue. It’s about the feels for every individual, how much they can be bothered to put up with overall. I don’t know about others but personally I prefer to just take things as they come with no actual expectations and then just be factual in the right way if things so south.
Hard feels won’t fix anything 
the smallest insult at the wrong time with the person who had a bad day will lead to consequences. Treat your fellow players as persons rather than robots. You may think treating a random you’ll never see again does not matter but the fact is it does cause chain reactions. If you treat others bad they do the same to others and so on.
Knowledge.
Assuming the tank knows his class, with some basic knowledge anyone can previse what packs the tank can handle.
What exactly do you mean “come prepared”? And why do you assume you can become an arrogant just because someone didn’t “prepare”?
People have so much to say, so many opinions on what the tank does, how you move the boss, what packs you pull, what your route is and on and on and on…
But tank themselves? Never!
It really gets to you after 100 dungeons of people backseating and complaining to no end.

Because they know they are a few…and they know you need them. They don’t really have…competition…
Because no one wants some guy who acts like a tank(pulling), knows better(flames about the current route) than a tank but doesn’t want to play a tank. Why should someone put up with your acting when 7 other DDs are on the queue.
