Characters, not accounts? (Rhetorical question - I see it isn’t accounts).
That’s absurd because it’s so easy to flag the same post on multiple characters. It’s a good argument in favour of forum activity being tied to account rather than character.

Yes per character, not per account.
The forums have become as bland and dull as the game itself. Always the same handful of posters and always the same few to flag. They have nothing better to do than flag posts.

I’d like it if those who systemically misuse flagging others incur a suspension themselves. And obviously those posts that don’t deserve it to get unflagged.

No, but in the minds of some people, they do nothing right. So my question to those is “why are you here?”.
Sure it’s fine to offer criticism. But as I pointed out, some people genuinely come across as having a terrible time. If I wasn’t enjoying myself, I wouldn’t be here.
That’s their personal business though and they gotta decide themselves, if they wanna keep playing. Maybe they enjoy it a lot, and only type here about things they wanna see improved
again, there is putting across criticism in a productive way, and generally just spreading hatred.
why do we have to praise the game lol i wouldn’t be playing it if i hated it. that doesn’t give you the right to flag me as a troll. i usually only give feedback when there’s an issue because otherwise my subscription shows that i’m a satisfied customer. i do praise wow in every other platform but here is the place to complain about things we don’t like so devs can see them. ignore the people you think are negative but stop spamming flags with all your accounts/characters.

No, but it’s a challenging point of discussion which is fine to put towards someone who just complains.
It forces the person to explain something they enjoy about their experience, rather than just being negative all the time.
In Slapface’s case, he likes doing Arena and has done thousands this season. I accepted that as an answer, and didn’t question it. But why he prefers WoW PVP over an actual PVP orientated game like League, who knows, that’s up to him.
Oh absolutely. At the same time it can also be used as a ‘my way or the highway, don’t let the door hit you on the way out’ kinda thing.
I simply assume everyone who is engaged enough to write on this forum, loves this game one way or another. And then not liking certain things is a part of their experience, but not the whole, at least, that’s just how I register it.

Got banned for a month on the US forum for saying “god damn” in a title.

Sadly, I honestly don’t think that is the case. I think there are alot of people here to just troll and cause a riot.
Also, lets not forget about mis-information being spread by competitors. Without a doubt when new expansions launch there are people from Competitor companies with valid and real characters in here causing a scene, and kicking up a fuss and creating a bad environment.
I’m still mulling over why people flag instead of just putting someone they can’t stand on ignore. I don’t get it. I find it intensely lame lol.
Flagging insults aimed at someone personally, or outright inflammatory content, ok. But a take someone has that you don’t like, or just the way someone communicates… pfff.
