Why are people so angry all the time?

But he/she has a point that the game was more fun when it was community driven and being a complete moronic tool in game made people to ignore you on a cosmic level and after that it was basically game over for biggest idiots.

It’s just how the online community has moved away from decency towards vile and toxic behaviour. Many players just can’t handle that screen that they get between them and others. Heck, many of the younger generation today is vile and toxic IRL as well.

I blame it on parents to be honest. The upbringing today is way too lenient, and kids are too used to getting their will and their way all the time. And that transfers to the online world as well, and in many cases it escalate their behaviour when they can be anonymous.

I don’t speak as much now as I did before when online. Usually I just keep to myself and do my thing. it’s a bit sad though, resigning to being quiet rather than talkative. It’s a lot more fun talking to others when online, but more often than not, talking leads to the blame game and I’m just fed up with it.

I know i was simply explaining what happened but you can only blame the players not the tool because it doesnt take much to talk and act nice its a system we asked for .I refuse spending hours looking for a group only for tank to leave .

SF players and arcade players in general are the most friendly players I ever met thou.

FUN? in my World of Warcraft?

More likely than you think, just stay away from Reddit really, for all the good it does,it’s also a festering cancer upon our community :frowning:

Yes, they are toxic and hostile for some reason.

I am a fairly new player (started end of legion) and had to experience just this. People expect everybody to play since Vanilla or at least WotLk. If they cant rush content , they will start searching for people to blame. Let it be in raid or anywhere else. E.G. I was kicked on my Discipline Priest while doing an Island because I didnt switch to DPS as Holy/Disc Priest that never touched Shadow .

I had to raidlead PUGS though HC Antorus since I had no raiding guild , so I know in which position you are in. I also don’t like to kick people apart from toxic ones or people that clearly dont even try to play mechanics. I wont kick sb because he messed up once or twice but if the mechanics are cleary explained multiple times and people ignore that (Hello, Necrotic Embrace at Varimathras) there is not much left to do sadly.

People that instantly cry out to kick other players and become that toxic guy though, usually dont play the game for the sake of playing but they want to rush content and have perfect logs. Its not about Fun anymore, it is about Raider io score and having an ilvl of 209486587. They care more about ratings and being the Top DPS/HPS than anything else. Also by shouting out for kicks it is like they want a pat on their back “Look, I do well , but he not so kick him”, they actually feel some kind of entitled or something as if they never make any mistakes. Or they used to do and got kicked themselves and just learned it like that or want to have their “revenge for being kicked”(not sure how to explain this one better).

This issue also makes people cry about stuff they have to do in order to be able to rush the content (e.g. Pathfinder).

It is NOT about playing or having fun anymore.

Also dont forget, that the game isnt played only by adults (I dont mean age here) but also people that dont reflect themselves and their actions. They don’t care about others or even think about what they can cause with their behaviour. Egocentrism at its finest…sadly.

But this wont change anymore. Its not an issue that is game related to be honest. Thats what this world has become. Instead of helping one another we kill each other to have benefits for ourselves. As sad as it is, you can only try for yourself to be better than that and not serve those structures but ull have to endure this kind of behaviour sadly.

But am glad to read so many people actually see this issues and dont embrace it as norm.

Nobody asked for anti - social single player experience with a hint of MMO.

Feats of Strenght.

Please show me which FOS were earnt in TBC or Classic ?

https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/ravencrest/rezista/achievements/feats-of-strength/events

You dont have the pre TBC event tabard or the pvp rank

So instead of explaining it in like 1-2 min , insta spam chat to kick people for one mess up or my favourites: “Kick him or I leave!” leaves and pulls the boss , makes this community better or the raid to progress faster?^^

How did you even get that from her post ? you didnt read it at all

It really depends on the person. For some people WOW is their entire life and they want to be tops at everything, while others simply see WOW as a game and entertainment.

I personally see WOW as a game and entertainment, but I do like completing goals that I want to achieve. I really only kick people if they are afk in island expeditions, dungeons, or raids. And usually I only vote to kick if I see it for myself or if the person actually comes out and says they are going afk a bit (which has happened in island expeditions).

I replied to the first one, not refering to endless wipes since i doubt that what Nancy was refering to. Ofc if people wont listen ,there is not much left to do as I stated in my previous post ,you apparently didnt read ^^

Yet you replied and quoted Punyelf not Nancy if you read my post and look at yours.

And thats the players fault the ones who asked for the tool during classic and tbc and early wotlk its how the playerbase use it .Its easy to be nice and polite .

Was rather a question to differentiate between endless wipes and one mess up ,mate. I didnt mean it in any kind personal or offending towards Punyelf nor I disagree with her/him on kicking and replacing people that repeatedly mess up /ignore mechanics.

And so would I do  gently pat

I don’t get why it’s so controversial to kick someone if they’re underperforming, so what if there’s a person on the other side of the screen? It’s just a kick, not like you’re bullying the person.

It’s a group of 20-30 complete strangers, no one talks, no one pipes up when RL asks if they know tactics and then you wipe and you wipe and you wipe. You explain tactics then you wipe again, 5 people leave, 5 new people who have no idea what’s going on joins, pretends to know tacs and the cycle continues.

Pugging makes people disposable, that’s just how it works, get a guild if you don’t wanna be disposable.
