Why are so many classes designed like this?

That’s the reason I’m still stuck in the 11-13 range. Like 5 times now I’ve pushed a key to 13 only for someone’s stupid mistake to wipe the party, deplete the key and back to 12. It’s soulcrushing pushing keys with pugs in the current season, worse than any other since M+ was introduced.

I’ve personally never run my own key, and i never plan to… i just sign up to the 13 or above straight in the LFD

It’s mixed because running and failing your own key is atrocious, probably the worst feeling you can get in this game, but clicking apply, refreshing and clicking again for 30+ minutes sometimes can be just as bad so, it’s a lose-lose without a good group.

I would appreciate it if crusader strike wouldn’t feel like a light fart in the wind , ergo would be nice if it would harder then a auto attack…

God i miss my mop ret :’(

Because raiders cried and cried and cried to Blizzard enough that because classes were too different in their damage profiles they couldn’t compare their e-peens on equal footing.

And Blizzard caved in, the only way to be able to make damage meters be 100% representative of your ‘‘skill’’ in doing simon says + ddr correctly is having every class be as similar as possible.

So here we are every single class is a builder spender with 1-2 builders and 1-2 spenders, just colored slightly differently. Gone are the times of archetypes like hybrids, brawlers, glass cannons, ramp, DoT, burst etc. Everyone has 1 big dmg button, 1 big dmg reduction button and a basic 5 button builder spender kit.

Perfect balance. Fun right?

Fire Mage: You use other abilities to get instant pyro casts, you don’t just stand there casting pyro for 4.5 sec minus haste all the time.

Shadow Priest: Devouring Plague costs insanity so you need to generate it (it’s a resource building spec). Mind Blast and Voidform are cooldown dependent.

Warrior: I don’t really play it but Condemn is an upgraded execute I think so you need to get the enemy below a certain %hp first.

Marksmanship Hunter: Aimed Shot has a cooldown, costs focus and requires you to stand still. If you can’t cast it you have to use other abilities.

Balance Druid: Again it costs a resource you have to generate, you need to utilize eclipses to maximize your damage and astral power generation.

And most if not all of those have to do with ST rotation so it’s not the same for AoE fights.

You’re subbed too. Unless you’re planning to quit, if that’s the case can I have your gold?
