It is getting extremely irritating that I can’t kill mages 5+ levels lower than me. They sheep me for 30 seconds, damage me, sheep me again for 30 seconds, damage me, sheep me again 30 seconds. Why are there no diminishing returns on this spell?

There ARE diminishing returns on poly, actually. It’s just freakin op to begin with in vanilla, a bit like fear.
Nah, sheep is very powerfull. Mostly allows you to reset bad fights and to 2v1
Fear is OP: same as sheep, excepts it doesn’t instantly break on damage. Therefore works in big fights with aoe, and in 1v1 most of the time, you’ll be dead before it ends.
DR only happens if the spell is cast again in the following 15 seconds, after that it resets
DR is on the debuff, not the cast itself.
So, the diminishing returns only affects Poly if poly is cancelled within 15 seconds of it starting? even though it lasts 30 sec?
That is daft. Interesting to know.
Same thing with sap and dedicated rogue could keep you CCed untill you alt-f4 the game
