Posting OP’s picture in the first place was probably not the right thing to do, nor is helping someone with it :no_mouth:

Ion Hazzicostas has said in the interview, with T&E yesterday that the art team is preparing some sort of blog post regarding the Dracthyr. So there is a cause for optimism regarding Blizzard seeing the current level of shall we say scepticism and looking to address it.

(Until at least that it’s impossible to what extent they intend the variability of torso options. I certainly hope there will be stockier variants, which could play more into the draconid/half-dragon gimmick)

Many reptile species have no clear, visible distinction between male and female. Size can be the only visible difference… but often the females are larger than the males. Unlike Worgen, where it makes sense to have male and female with clear physical differences, the same is not true of Dracthyr. And unlike the Naga, who predate WoW and traditionally can have half-snake / half-human form, the “dragon aspect” of Dracthyr has no reason to be anything other than purely bipedal dragon / lizard.

You are not a trained biologist. There are dimorphic differences among reptiles. You just can’t recognize it because you’re not a member of their species, just like they can’t recognize the difference between male and female humans. Go look up Argonians in Elder Scrolls to see how to do male and female reptilians right.

A note:

Female wargen aren’t well represented respect to canine races.

Ah, so its completely irrelevant then - as we won’t be able to see it anyhow.

Good job, you played yourself.

If the dragon in shrek didn’t have long lashes… Would you honestly had been able to tell physically alone? …No?

Well, this “goat” is human like in a 99%

And dragons aren’t reptiles. They’re not anything. They’re fictional. Which means Blizzard can give them any body shapes or parts they like.
