Why are there no more cool rare achievements?

Hello,

I am kinda pissed that we dont have achievements like Commander of Argus, i have fond memories of that, it was a grind towards awesome rewards, every rare was important, it was not timegated, there was community involvement calling out for rares helping others, not tagging like bots cuz some were very rare etc.

Also most rares since then lets say they add 3 maps during an expansion, 90% of rares have same useless drops maybe 2-3 have a mount or something, it just makes the whole rare and new map pointless ( look at Siren Isles, you get stormcrow mount = gg whole map)

I just passed 20k achievement points and was very pleased with that.

We still get rare and grindy achievements that reward titles, mounts and pets, don’t we?

More people have Incognitro than the mount earned at 500 mounts achievement, for example.

I googled the achievement and it was clocking off all the rares. We have things like the Taivan mount and similar for other expansions that give players plenty to do to achieve the mount. It’s more than just a kill list as well.

I prefer achievements that are tricky to do as I feel grindy ones aren’t really an achievement, they’re just a pain

I guess it was just Legion being the best expansion ever imo, thats why i dont even see the others…
Was the only expansion where i wanted to do everything i could

Just me who couldn’t care less about achievements ? Massively ruins immersion in many games and so many of them are there for the sake of it… Get them out of games already!

Personally i dont rly care about achievements unless if theres something juicy tied to completing it

Well yeah, thats the whole point, the achievement i posted gives nice weapon tmog’s.
I dont like achievements just for the sake of the number.
But there are those who collect that so its cool.
I dont understand the mindset “i dont like it personaly so the game must remove it”

I wish if I was into achievements, I would probably be having alot more fun playing the game :no_mouth:
