Why aren't the High Elves and Amanis the races featured in Midnight?

Crystalsong (Shandaral) was criminally underused in Wrath because Dalaran was there and it tanked performance (Lagaran) so they couldn’t really do much with the zone.

In The Last Titan, there is a storyline to be told about Vereesa and the Silver Covenant rediscovering the legacy of the Quel’Dorei of Shandaral, masters of Arcane magic until their reckless arrogance drew the ire of the Nexus.

Blood Elves and Void Elves actually wouldn’t fit in such a storyline because Belves are now more Light than Arcane and Velves are more… Void.

While the High Elves are in a prime position to take centre stage in a storyline about Arcane-wielding ancient elves.

And I can already hear

“But what about the Horde reeee”

You can have a Shal’dorei camp in Crystalsong.

Kill on sight of course. :dracthyr_a1:

After reading arguments of both sides I decided to not add high elves to the game. You already have 4 different elf races to play. I’m closing this thread. Good luck next time

Which I literally included in my concept.

Why are you leaving out the half of the post that specifically addresses this out of the quote?

Other way around, it was some who partook in fel, mostly warlocks, but it was an extreme rarity which in most cases ended in turning wretched because Fel is so addictive you were that more likely to lose control over the addiction.

did not say this at all

question
are you ignoring/twisting what I say intentionally or is it something you do subconsciously?

feels like you’re argueing out of bad faith based on both these replies

I guess all the Blood Elves eyes turned green from nothing.

Why do the Horde need a base in Crystalsong anyway?

I think, at the very least - they would fit better on the outskirts of Northrend…close to the old Argent Crusade Camp.

They get to overlook all of Crystalsong, whilst the Alliance get the whole city and eastern regions.

Maybe the Nightborne could use the Western areas for their camp.

They don’t, but have you not paid attention to all the QQing Horde players made in TWW because they had to take quests from Alleria and Anduin?

They would probably QQ that Nightborne or Zandalari don’t get a spotlight in an Arcane-focused zone.

And honestly, Crystalsong is a full zone. There can be a Quel’dorei town but also a Zandalari or Nightborne research outpost.

Why can’t people just play the long game? I always say, play the long game, let it plan properly…so what if Shandaral or Crystalsong is Alliance/Alliance-led only?

We could have somewhere like Zul’Drak which is Horde/Horde-led only?

Because people have no patience, it’s simple.

Not me, though. I have patience. I’ve been waiting for an Alleria-centred storyline for 20 years and I’ve also been waiting for 20 years for High Elves. And so far I’m half satisfied.

I’m pretty hype that Turalyon and Alleria came back, and so far I do like Alleria’s character arc

I wouldn’t mind this. I mean there’s only a single troll there left alive. Might as well use the area.

I wanted Alleria to lead the High Elves
Thus far, I’m not impressed because this Void-angle is uncalled for.

I didn’t wage a war to get Void Elves. I wanted High Elves.

What’s the difference between a Quel’dorei and a Sin’Dorei?

What’s the difference between Maghar Orcs and Orcs?

Again?!
Are you seriously?:woman_facepalming:t3:

What’s the difference between blue and red?
