Why aren't the High Elves and Amanis the races featured in Midnight?

This turned out pretty good all things considered.

Yes, we wanted Alleria the High Elf, not Alleria the weird Void Elf, but by being all Voided, Alleria is now the main protagonist of the Worldsoul Saga - a saga about the forces of the Void trying to claim Azeroth.

The outcome is ultimately alright.

Plus, she’ll be getting a lot of spotlight with Turalyon and Arator - a half elf - in Midnight. So hopefully they explore the parts of her character that are not just about the Void.

Not for me it isn’t.

If I want to play a High Elf, currently - I’ve got to play something that always turns into a blueberry for 9 seconds, the moment they enter combat.

Again - great if you like that sort of thing, but it’s not what I wanted in 2017

Void Elves can’t be the most popular class in the game. That itself is enough to get people to vote for having High Elves.

Lol, I don’t play a Void Elf. I’m just saying that if Alleria stayed a High Elf, she’d probably be joining Vereesa in the corner of forgotten lore characters Blizzard doesn’t care about.

She was a forgotten lore character in BFA - DF.

Now, it just feels like she’s the Sylvanas-replacement, for the time being

I’ve seen more excitement about Sylvanas coming back after that short interview with Maria, than I’ve seen all about Alleria and Vereesa, combined.

One it’s green, the other brown.
Any more question?

Sin’Dorei are surviving High Elves (or Quel’Dorei) who changed their name to honour the blood of those who perished during Arthas’s march on the capital.
Surviving High Elves! Meaning the majority of the High Elves are dead! And the 10% changed their name. Why do you want a race that is dead or on the brink of extinction?
Yeah yeah you might say there are few somewhere around and I say ok… even the T-Rex relatives still live, you eat them often, they are called chickens.
What is your point?

You know absolutely nothing about the history of Azeroth and the culture of the High Elves :woman_facepalming:t3:

Population was never an issue or else Void Elves wouldn’t have been a thing with how few they were on release.

Other than I’ve been playing Sin’Dorei for 18 years…

Because we appreciate the history of these survivors rekindling old oaths to assist the Alliance while simultaneously preserving their morals by not consorting with demonic energy, which in turn leads to a nuanced and morally grey storyline when their hatred for fel users leads them down a path of blinded revenge.

Funny thing those elves am I right? they can absorb any kind of magic and it is reflected in their appearances.

High Elves aren’t ever going to be a playable race. This has been confirmed multiple times by multiple developers; enough said.

I’m really starting to get sick of these stupid threads. They offer nothing but ignorance and stupidity.

Blizzard says a lot of things.

High elves are blood elves. They would be identical to the void elves with normal skin you can arleady use now. That is why Blizzard is not gonna add them.

Alleria is an idiot and trustes the wrong people that is why players find her annoying now.

They’ve said it consistantly. Time, and time again. Besides, if we’re not getting them now with the expansion based around the elves, we’re never getting them.

Then why do you come here? You look just as stupid and ignorant with your meaningless hateful comment

Thank you for proving my point.

We would never have Classic if this was true.
