Agree create another race that looks exactly the 2 already existing ones just with less customization. Because that will make my gaming experience so unique and wont be redundant at all.
Good thing that I don’t want the High Elves to return to tacky, Horde-infested Silvermoon.
I just want playable High Elves in Stormwind.

idk I do feel like things have improved, WoW as a baseline just needs an RP addon to be one of the best RP platforms in the market, getting a prism that lasts half an hour instead of 5 minutes was great and a lot of new toys actually have durations longer then cooldowns, so no more cool effect for 5 minutes but on a 2 hour cooldown which means that they’re way more viable to use for visual effects then they used to be
I guess it’d be best to just post what would you want to see from blizzard to help them improve on RP potential, what do you feel is missing that could make RP better, small or large
I would love it if they went the lore route of showing high elves in aliance communities taking up places in the citizenry, workforce and military as well, maybe have a seperate group for the break off civilization story line as well as a group that sticks with the alliance communities that have welcomed them.

Most blood elves did not consume fel, the only ones that did were Kael’thas honourguard and maybe the occasional warlock, if they did they would immediately have gotten addicted to it and the sunwells restoration would have done nothing for them since it does include fel/chaos in its energy profile.
They used fel crystals to power their city’s magical functions (the brooms for example, but also the forges and the floating towers etc) so that they could save on mana for consuming it themselves, which they did take from other living beings yes, that one is true.
The green eyes are purely due to proximity to chaos energies that powered the cities magical functions.
and I’m glad its being recognized, helf is belf actually has caused a lot of misinfo in my opinion

high elves require zero effort tho. just copy paste blood elves to alliance. tbh this was the perfect opportunity to add them and i dont understand the decision not to. the money theyd make from high elves would be insane

She meant it by name, the blood elves name is to honor those that died. Also lorewise many of them have blue eyes already, the fel hasn’t been part of them for a long time and has faded. Their eyes have been returning to the blue color they had before.

I don’t disagree with that arguement cause its obvious for clear reasons that it would be low effrot, I think the arguement against for most people isn’t that they’d take too much and development time, it’s that they’d take up a slot that could’ve been another race with a completely new rig instead of a third race that uses the existing belf rig (4 if you count male dracthyr visage)
it wouldn’t feel like we were getting something new
that’s the arguement I keep seeing atleast.
Also not sure on it being a money maker of a decision. I don’t think it’d draw a large crowd back to wow and with how quick leveling is, why would you race change if you could just click new char and level up to 80 in like half a day?
