Standard response from customer support - complain about spam in the game.
I complain for 1 day. I receive a “thank you”.
I complain for 2 days. I receive a second “thank you”.
I complain for 3 days. I receive a third “thank you”.
I remember those times, 10 years ago, when it was possible to communicate in the trade chat. You could find a seller and a buyer. It was very nice and brought its own atmosphere.
Now it just doesn’t exist.
There is endless flooding, spam in the chat.
Customer support - which sends users to complain in the game.
In-game complaints that don’t work, because it’s faster for the spammer to create a new alt before the current spammer gets punished.
The same nicknames (type of nicknames) - spam on all servers.
Why does 1 person with several accounts ruin the fun of the game for the entire community? Showing the ineffectiveness of the complaint system.

I don’t expect anything else from you.
Your reports do however help as if enough players report, their character/account gets squelched (temp muted) so they are forced to jump on a new one.
Generally by the time GM’s work their way up to the report queue the spammer has already jumped to a new (stolen/hacked or fraudulent) account. Since these are essentially empty and only used for advertising the main content isn’t hit.
In the meantime though Warden banwaves will still occur to hit the bot goldbanks in an counteracting effort.
They should require 2FA from all accounts at this point.
Some good news too from the bot front: apparently there was a small banwave recently. And some automating or simplifying functionalities of an addon GSE got disabled by Blizzard.
Well they do require this for custom group messages and every so often the forums get an angry guy complaining that Blizzard is restricting their “freedom of speech” to create one…
You meant the newly issued ID cards with internal PINs branded on them? LOL I sincerely doubt they will give that government type logins to game companies. This isn’t South Korea - their gaming laws are pretty modern btw.
Recently Blizzard phased out of using IDs for well, proving account identification so I don’t think they’ll relapse anytime soon to it again.
That system has some pretty nasty flaws as well though, creating custom groups requires 2fa and sms protect. I moved to another country and have a phone number in said country now, which results in Blizzard not allowing me to set up sms protect without me sending them proof of residency, which is utterly ridiculous.
Bind it to mouse scroll for example and then use some sort of device that scrolls multiple mousewheels at the same time.
Someone in the US said it was discriminatory against their disability but some really knowledgeable player outed him as one of the many “human bots”. I cannot find the thread right now. It was all super interesting though, the methods the “bots” use
The idea that you can just endlessly scroll a mouse wheel or smash a single key just sounds wrong for a game like WoW, I’m not surprised that this functionality was targeted.
It helps players who have disablities and is no way automated as it need players input to function and work might want to read up before bad mouthing an addon and creators who have worked hand in hand with blizzard everything is within the guidelines and rules.
Do not bad mouth something you do not use or understand just to make yourself look smart.
I do not care one bit about you and whether you like me or not. Feel free to utilize the ignore list. In fact I would be honored to inhabit that sacred section of yours.
By the way, I am considered disabled. In fact, I receive monthly support money from the government for two disabilities. I used this addon years ago but found it not suitable for me. Found out about it through the Discord community I am in where other WoW players with disabilities are. This thread I am referring to was also shared there.
So, kindly, put that useless blabber of yours back where you took it. And do not forget to flag me, and do it in every thread you find me in. And always announce it to others to get your post count up.
Like you spreading lie’s about the addon, you like always do not like being stood up to or caught out but you are trying to make a legal addon look bad and i find that rather bad of you.
All this is a personal attack and nothing to do with the thread kindly stick to the topic and keep grudges to yourself.
Just stop trying to make it sound wrong and bad to use it and actually give out facts that is all, you are basically slandering the author’s accusing them of botting addons.
And dont tell me who and what to flag or who to add to ignore this has nothing to do with the thread just your personal grudge nothing else.
A workaround has been found for people with disabilities. The functionality of the add-on was targeted to combat bot-like behaviour, because while it helped people with disabilities it was notorious for how it was abused by people who are not disabled and just combined it with other devices and programs to become bot-like.

Oh and about grudges: you have been on some sort of witch hunt for a month now, thinking I am making fun of people with mental health issues and whatnot. You do not get the meaning of a figure of speech like “you’re insane :D” meaning “you cannot be serious” or “preposterous” in the context I typed it in. So you valiantly tell others to report me for “making fun of people with mental health issues” and announce it in your reply.
You seem to always assume the worst of people. Don’t.
Have you never seen twitch chat? chat just moves fast regardless unless you are on very low pop server, its gonna move fast regardless its not even worth the time honestly.
