it wont be…worst case scenario is the same as the retail one…tho if this was the case they would ve prob mention it from the start…so maybe it will be a bit cheaper than that
well you don’t know that. i don’t know that, i was asking you a question using a hypothetical pricetag to see if you’d stick to your point.
here’s what i can guarantee you; if the pricetag (for the sake of argument) was 120 euro, nobody in their right mind would pay for it… unless they are botting.
yes but that hypothetical pricetag is unrealistic:))) u could ve maybe said its 60 euros or 50 (idk whats the exact price tag on retail atm ) and yes…im pretty sure a good chunk of legit players would pay 50 euros to get that one time boost…if by some chance i would ve missed classic and wanted to play with my friends when tbc starts…id most prob pay 50 euros to play with them
so basically they’d have to pay as much money for a character boost as the god damn shadowlands expansion costs.
kek. seems reasonable.
why are you making it sound
like some astronomically high price??? you bust out 50 euros on 2 nights out at a pub:))
In all fairness, paying close to a AAA game’s worth of money to skip a chunk of content is a bit much.
because it is.
perhaps…but nobody is forcing you to do it…if u can do it…fine…if u cant…thats also fine u can level up normally
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh here we go again with the “nObOdY iS fOrCiNg YoU tO uSe It”
hahaha classic
That is true of course, I won’t disagree… It just feels odd to me. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t fault a person for using it if it makes them happy. I wouldn’t do it but we’re all free to do with our hard earned cash what we will.
because is true…nobody is taking away the ability to level normally from you…
and that’s how wealth disparity leads to pay2win.
which means Scrooge McRich easily gains a huge advantage in game, while Vladmir Koschevski from Ukraine would have to work 4 months in a gulag to even boost one character.
thanks for attending my TED talk.
u still talking about the boost???because its very far away from being a ‘‘huge advantage’’
you just don’t get it do you?
with a boost in the game, you’d be dumb not to use it.
why spend weeks leveling ‘for free’ if you can just work a couple of hours on minimum wage and get a boost.
Ruining of the game was because of the store? I didn’t go to classic because it didn’t have an in-game store, i went to it because I prefer the classic gameplay at it’s core and that won’t change.
I think you have to be more specific on the “ruining of the game” part, I would be surprised if the retail store is the main reason?
For me this is why i prefer classic:
*More challenging landscape
*More interesting itemization
*More interesting gear progression
*Classes feels more unique
*No scaling in pvp or pve
*No world quests
*Slower paced gameplay
*Less flashy animations that makes you go yikes after 1h gameplay
The list goes on and on here really, but the store is just a minor thing I never even used in retail so don’t get why you are so upset.
dont use logic and common sense…you might scare him away
Ruining of the game was because of the store?
Primarily yes. for sure. im not saying its the only factor. things like destroying azeroth in cata and replacing the iconic world with dumbed down, soulless, leveling zones was also a major contributor… and don’t even get me started on dailies and arbitrary progression limitations like “you can only do 1 [game mechanic] per day for the gazillion badges/azerites/whatever you need to upgrade your character”.

said the guy who thinks paying 60 bucks for a boost seems sensible and logical.
why spend days ( fixed that for you ) leveling ‘for free’ if you can just work a couple of hours on minimum wage and get a boost.
so…if everyone on a minimum wage can get a boost i guess…’‘and that’s how wealth disparity leads to pay2win’’ is not really a thing then yes???

you don’t know much about how the world works do you?
minimum wage in my country is like massive fat paycheck in eastern european countries, not to mention africa or other poor regions.
