Rastakhan wouldn’t have needed bwonsamdi if rezan hadn’t died. He died to progress the story basically
Fairly sure that was all zul
They wanted to rekindle their ancient pact with Lei Shen and the rest of the Mogu. They used to be the most powerful coalition in the world before the rise of the night elves.
He died to raise the stakes. Which is something that only happens on the Horde side for some reason. I haven’t seen dead alliance characters since Varian.
Edith: while you respond. Please be so nice and give this topic a push. I want to discuss troll culture on a greater scale
Because he pledged himself to boswandi? Also, as it was detailed in the lore of the other side, Boswandi was protecting the souls of zandalaris from jjailer by hiding them.
He refused to hand them over hence why we had to save boswandi.
No zandalari could be saved from The Maw because they werent in the maw, they were with boswandi.
He sold his bloodline out and betrayed his people without even as much as talking to them concerning it upon rezans death. Ngl. He did alot wrong qhich led him to the fate he took.
Because he was shown a vision of how many forum topics Erevien would post.
So he decided to end it all.
It was clearly just so Vol’jin would become the next loa of kings.
Between one of my favorite Trolls and some dinosaur we never knew about before BFA, I would pick Vol’jin
Do you have a source for that? Post-timeskip?
I agree that they need new loa. But I wouldn’t consider Rezan’s death a big loss for them. I mean, Rezan, the mighty loa of kings, jumped into a blatantbly obvious trap without a second thought. Compared to a charismatic, cunning and yet selfless Bwonsamdi (who saved countless Troll souls from the maw), dinosaur brain was embarassing to begin with.
I get that and why you dislike Talanji, but you should have proof for your assumptions.
He left Rastakhan alone when the alliance attacked to save himself. He is not a reliable ally.
Rezan was the reason Rastakhan was get so old. That is a blessing considering the short life of trolls.
White widow and widow’s bite tried to spark rebellions to get rid of her.
https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Samara
She is a walking meme. Only invented to replace Rastakhan. And ignored once Bfa is over. She contributes no faction pride.
How many of those threads are you creating, my boy?
Are you bored?
No. I just want to talk about trolls and the way Blizzard has treated them.
Untrue.
Bwonsamdi used his powers to raise the gorilla, conjured the Blood Moon and even supported Rastakhan during the fight. Rastakhan wielded Bwonsamdi’s power until the end, but it proved too much for him. You just have to listen to his voicelines during the fight:
“No… de darkness… is too much to control”
“Dis darkness threatens to consume my soul! I must… be free of it!”
“Dis power… dis death… it is a curse, not a blessing! Oh daughter… what have I done?”
Bwonsamdi gave him all he wanted, till the very end.
Doesn’t change that Rezan fell into the most obvious trap ever.
I said “Post-timeskip”. As in: “5 years after our return from the Shadowlands”
That’s your opionion.
Still not enough to stop the alliance. Idk if it’s luck or plot armor but the bad reputation sticks. Meanwhile Jaina wiped the floor with the Horde raid until she bailed and teleports to safety.
Doesen’t change the fact that his people need him more then ever.
You asked for rebellions. I gave you two examples. And I am sure more people would try If Blizzard wouldn’t be so extreme on maintaining that peace treaty.
Troll community is with me. We waited for Rastakhan just to see a cardboard take his place.
A loa’s power isn’t limitless. Still, Bwonsamdi did all he could do for Rastakhan and did not just leave him, as you claimed.
Speaking of reputation, did you get your main banned again?
This is your opinion, not a fact.
So your “evidence” happened back then in BfA and there is absolutely no indication for rebellions or rebel activities after the time-skip.
Then where are they?
Neither is that of a mage. Yet Jaina pulled alot of BS during the boss fight. So why did she escape while Rastakhan died?
As you can see I am here.
If the reign starts shacky it speaks volumes of how its going to be later on.
They will come eventually. Trolls are the most mistreated race in the game. If Blizzard doesen’t stop soon there will be riots.
everyone thread is like woe me allaince bias
The answer lies in your question. Jaina’s goal was to escape, Rastakhan’s goal was to stay and defend his throne. Anyway, since you’re resorting to whataboutism now, it’s safe to say that your claim that “Bwonsamdi left / betrayed Rastakhan” is rebutted.
Thanks again for your subjective opinion, but that’s not what I asked.
Once more: Do you have post-timeskip evidence for your claim?
You wrote
Is, as in present. That’s a small, but very important difference.
It’s not the first time you claim to have the support of a certain community, but almost nobody seems to back you up. Maybe you should take your own advice:
Correction. Her goal was to help the remaining alliance forces escape. Personally she fought the Horde as long as possible to distract us from the fleet.
So what? So she was stalling. We fought her on moving ships and a ice plattform that were being bombarded during the fight - doesn’t change that she left as soon as she could. Personally, I think she should at least have been injured in that fight - I’ve considered her TOO powerful since her ridiculous Lordaeron entrance as you might remember- but still, she wanted to buy time to escape, he was making a last stand.
If that was your only “correction” left, I guess we’re done here.
So that Vol’jin would become a Loa, obviously.
Vol’jin’s story was over. They should not have wasted the strongest Loa just to push a troll who was done for since Legion.
