Why do 2H staves drop for shamans?

Can we remove this from the loot tables already? It’s been annoying since forever!

I mean, technically they can use them, but nobody does. I’d be happy to remove them as well tbh. Out of the past 3 weapon drops, 2 of them were bloody staves.

Using a shield is a massive in open world content. It doesn’t make sense that staves drop for shamans. Nobody will ever give up on the added defense from shields.

I completely agree with you. My staff is actually a higher ilvl than my 1h mace, and I still won’t use it xD

A few times ive had to use a staff because it ended up being way higher ilvl than the previous setup of fist/shield. Just too much power to say no to.

I’ve yet to use a shield, they never drop so I just yoink offhands from clothies :smirk:

I use staff now just because its so much better then the options i have in my backpack.

My pandaren uses staff because of transmog :cry:

I know what you mean… And on my druid I keep getting off hand drops instead of staves.

Well, I always get 1h drops and I hate them. Love my 2h mog, Ill never switch to 1h no matter the upgrade. Wish theyd let us choose :confused:

Using heirlooms while leveling is a blizz. Always wearing a shield and a 1h mace and not worrying about getting a crp staff drops is super gay (old english meaning). Guess this staff problem will be waiting for me at max lvl. Can’t wait for the gnawing of teeth and cramping my buttcheeks together untill my butthle gets sore. :smiley:

I get shields all the time but never a good 1h :frowning:. One of the reaons I picked Shaman was to be able to have shields as caster. Staves doesn’t even fit shaman.

Get rid of 2 h maces too. Got my second 2 handed mace in a week.
Why you can’t get a wrong weapon type when you play a Rogue, Arms, Ret, any hunter spec etc.?

Yep, got several shields in my backpack but not one decent one-hander so far so i’m running around with a staff. Feels wrong.

I always mog into the artefact weapon if i get a staff on my shaman it just doesn’t feel right not to see my girl without a shield but that comes at a price seeing the fist weapon too :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

getting sword as Assasination? getting 2hander as Prot Warr? Getting 1h as Ret? Getting polearm as BM Hunter? did you even think what you wanted to post before doing so?

Haha dont be silly :kissing_heart: it looks ok, but doesnt always fit my mogs. But yeah, staff feels wrong on shammy, but as long as its better then the other options i will run round with that stick.
